Pumpkin Cake Mix Squares Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup canned pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
2 eggs
frosting of your choice

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.
2: In large bowl, mix ingredients with spoon until well blended. Spread in pan.
3: Bake 24 to 28 minutes or until light brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, at least 45 minutes.
4: Frost as desired. Cut into squares and serve!

Darlene’s Tips: If you want, you can buy less ingredients by using a mix and skipping the pumpkin pie spice. Follow the rest of the recipe as directed. Cream cheese flavored frosting would be great on this. You can thin the frosting with a tiny bit of water or milk if you want to drizzle like a glaze.
