1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix (or any brand)

1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup butterscotch morsels
optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.

2: In large bowl, beat cake mix, melted butter, brown sugar, eggs and milk with spoon until well blended. Stir in butterscotch morsels (and nuts, if desired). Spread in pan.

3: Bake 24 to 28 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Cut as desired.

Darlene’s Tips: You can use any flavor cake mix for this recipe. They just won’t be blonde, but they should still have a more chewy texture! Toss in any flavor morsels too. You could also add other ingredients like raisins, M&M candies, shredded coconut or whatever you like! You can frost these for extra sweetness!
