UPDATE to $.99/lb Sirloin Pork Chops at Sanford Shaw’s (and maybe your Shaw’s)

Last night I posted that Sanford Shaw’s has an unadvertised special on Sirloin Pork Chops at $.99/lb.  The person I spoke to last night said they had a lot to move, at least 3 or 4 days worth.  I told him I’d send folks in for the sale!

Today I started getting reports that Sanford did not have any of the chops.  Then I got one report that they have them, just not out.  When I ran in for the flyer, I asked about the chops and if they still had plenty and boy oh boy… I can tell the meat manager was sick of getting questions about those chops! lol  Seems everyone has been asking and they are cutting them as fast as they can. They were getting ready to fill the cooler when I was there.

If you don’t see any, you can ask, but I was told since this is not an advertised sale, they will only cut them when they have extra time. So, it’s hit or miss.  He said if one or two people were to ask them to cut some, they will, if they have time. But they can’t cut for everyone who asks, and I guess plenty were asking this morning asking!  They at least know I can bring people to the store. lol

I’m getting lots of reports that various Shaw’s also has this deal. I guess the over stock was spread out among certain stores. Good luck!

I went into Shaw’s today around 2:00 pm in Sanford & they had quite a few of the pork chop sirloins (bone in) in the center aisle display, more in front of the seafood section than the meat department. They are in the value sized packages, but are labeled as $.99/lb, and even have a little stand up sign showing that as well. I hope this helps!
