Nutella Muddy Buddies Snack Mix Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

9 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal (or mix of both)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread (pr store brand)
2/3 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup roasted salted almonds
2 cups white chocolate-covered mini pretzels

DIRECTIONS:
1: Line large rimmed cookie sheet with waxed paper. Place cereal in a large bowl.
2: In medium microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, hazelnut spread and butter uncovered on High in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, for a total of 30 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth.
3: Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour mixture into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
4: Add powdered sugar to bag. Seal bag; shake until cereal pieces are well coated. Spread mixture on cookie sheet to cool, about 15 minutes. Mix in almonds and pretzels. Store in covered container.
Darlene’s Tips: You can add whatever you’d like to this mix! You could also add the nuts before coating the mix with the chocolate so they would get covered too. You can also try different cereals, any flavor, any shape!
