CHEAP Beech-Nut Jars of Baby Food at Shaw’s starting 1/13 with printable coupons and Catalina deal

If you need to buy baby food, you are going to want to listen up! You can get a great deal on jars of Beech-Nut starting Friday the 13th (yikes!). This is a great time to stock up or to put together a baby shower gift for an expecting mom!

(I will be buying baby food to use in cooking, baking and yes, to feed to my mother… at least the fruits… they make a great dessert topping!  See creative ways to use baby food and other items in your stockpile here).

Now, back to the sale…

The jars of Stage 2 Beech-Nut baby food will be on sale for 55¢ Jan 13 through Jan 20.  I have coupons that you can print AND there is a Catalina deal on Beech-Nut to help you save more.

Here’s how you do it:

First, print your coupons.

Beech-Nut gives you 6 prints per computer because they know babies eat a lot of baby food! So, print as many as you think you’ll need!

$1/8 Beech-Nut baby food glass jars

$2/16 Beech-Nut baby food glass jars

Transaction 1: Head to Shaw’s (but wait until Friday) and buy…

16 jars of Beech-Nut priced at 55¢ each, total $8.80
Use (1) $2/16 coupon or use (2) $1/8 coupons
either way you will save $2
Final price is $6.80 for 16 jars AND you will get a $3 catalina coupon!
you will use the catalina on the next transaction

Transaction 2: Turn right around and buy…

16 more jars of Beech-Nut priced at 55¢ each, total $8.80
Use (1) $2/16 coupon or use (2) $1/8 coupons
either way you will save $2
Total is $6.80 for 16 jars
Use your $3 catalina coupon to pay it down!
Final price is $3.80 for 16 jars AND you will get another $3 catalina coupon!

You can do Transaction 2 over and over again until you run out of coupons! And you will still end up with a $3 catalina at the end to use on anything you want!

Here is the cost per jar. The more you buy, the more you save!

16 jars works out to 43¢ per jar
32 jars works out to 33¢ per jar
48 jars works out to 30¢ per jar
64 jars works out to 28¢ per jar

And you will have $3 leftover when you are done!

You do NOT have to print the catalina info to get this deal, but it’s a good idea to have it handy in case you don’t get the coupon.

Beech-Nut Catalina Information

You can show it to customer service and they will give you a cash refund if the catalina does not spit out of the machine. Tip: if the catalina does not spit out, go to a different register next time!

There are also coupons for Stage 2 1/2 but I don’t know if those are on sale. You might want to print them just in case!

I mentioned this Alpo dog food coupon in a coupon roundup post, but I think it deserves its very own post :O)

$1.50 off 10 cans of dog food does not sound like much, and it really isn’t. However, Shaw’s sometimes has Alpo on sale for B1G1 FREE. If that happens, then you get 10 cans but you only pay for 5 and you get $1.50 off that total. I’m not sure if this will happen during the life of this coupon, but you never know!

$1.50/10 cans Alpo dog food, any size, any variety –  you get two prints per computer.

I just printed and I see that we have 30 days from the time we print to use the coupon… plenty of time to find a terrific sale! But, print NOW because it won’t be around for long!

There is a new PDF coupon out there for O-Cel-O scrub sponges. The most awesome thing about this coupon is… well, there are 3 most awesome things…

1. It is a pdf coupon which means you can print to your heart’s content.

2. It does not expire until 6/20/12 so we have plenty of time to find the best bargains.

3. There is nothing on the coupon that says do not double, which is rare for pdf coupons!

The only wee downfall is that it states one coupon per day. But hey, we’ve got 6 months to use it! So, who cares!

This will come in mighty handy during an O-Cel-O sale at a store that doubles coupons like Shaw’s!

$.75/2 O-Cel-O Scrub Sponges – Tip: when you open the pdf, click on the disk icon to save to your computer. Then you will always have the coupon and you don’t need to print until you need to!

There is a new Smart Balance milk coupon hiding over at zip code 90210 on coupons.com! Remember, you can plug in other zips on the coupon sites to find more coupons. You can use the coupons anywhere, not just in the zip you find it at :O)

$.75/1 Smart Balance Milk – If this does not take you directly to it, use zip 90210. You get 2 prints per computer

I often find 1/2 gallons of Smart Balance milk in the reduced section at Shaw’s marked down to $1.00 each. After the coupon doubles, you end up with a money maker!
