There are two new coupons out there for Hormel products. One is for $1 off any Hormel Always Tender product. If you shop at a Shaw’s this is a good one to print. I see Hormel products in my reduced deli section all the time. The other is for Hormel Bacon Toppings… and guess what! Last month I told you to print coupons for Green Giant frozen vegetables and hold for a sale. Well, the sale is here! Green Giant frozen veggies will be on sale for $1 each starting Friday, Oct 14. The bad news is that your coupons, like mine, have probably expired. The good news is that Shaw’s in Sanford accepts expired coupons as long as they are not too expired, so maybe your Shaw’s does too. It never hurts to ask! The other good news is there are supposedly coupons for $.60/3 Green Giant Frozen Veggies in the 9/11 and 10/2 General Mills inserts, if you were lucky enough to get those inserts. I wasn’t, so I can’t say for sure if those coupon values are regional or not. If you have the $.80/4 coupons, the deal will look like this: Buy (4) boxes Green Giant frozen vegetables on sale for $1 each If you have the $.60/3 coupons, the deal will look like this: Buy (3) boxes Green Giant frozen vegetables on sale for $1 each And don’t forget to read up on the General Mills sale! Finally, a deal on Cains mayonnaise! I’ve been waiting for this for 5 long months! Cains has always been my mother’s favorite mayo, but I rarely bought it for her because store brand was always cheaper, or so I thought. I’m much smarter now :O) Shaw’s will have a B1G1 FREE sale on Cains starting Friday, Oct 14. Now, I know Cains is waaaaaay over priced at Shaw’s. I can’t remember the regular price, but I dare say it’s something like $4.79 per jar. However, with the bogo sale, and with the $1/2 coupon below, we might be able to get Cains for less than $2 per jar! Remember that coupon I told you about for $1 off Poland Spring sparkling water? Now is the time to use it! The 1L bottles are priced at $1 each at Shaw’s so with the coupon, you get it for FREE! Redplum has a tasty coupon for $1 off a Hatfield ham steak. I got an excellent deal on this ham awhile back. I can’t quite remember the scenario, but I know paid something like 50¢ each by using my coupons during a fantastic Hatfield sale at Shaw’s. I’ve been waiting for a sale on Bob Evans ever since I started couponing 5 months ago. I’ve never found a sale yet! There are always plenty of coupons, but they are usually for 40¢ off a side dish, and frankly that’s not enough of a deal for me. Now Bob Evans is offering a high value 75¢ off coupon and this will double at Shaw’s. So, you can get $1.50 off! Even without a sale, this coupon will allow you to pick up a fairly cheap side dish if you need something quick and easy for dinner. But maybe, just maybe there will finally be a sale??? $.75/1 any Bob Evans refrigerated side dish – find it under the food link then click on the coupon image to watch a little video (it opens right on the coupon and only lasts a few seconds) then print! There is a coupon on coupons.com for 60¢ off one bag of Ricola throat lozenges. This coupon will double at Shaw’s! Print now before the coupon disappears (it won’t last long) but save for a sale. There might be some very good sales at the drugstores for Ricola too. Below are coupons for items that I have found at one time or another in the reduced sections at my Sanford Shaw’s. I print these coupons every time I see them just in case I find the product in reduced next time I shop. I find them often enough that I never buy these items now unless they are reduced! Click the food link on coupons.com to find these: $1/10 Yoplait Yogurts – They are usually 30¢ to 35¢ in reduced $.50/8 Yoplait Yogurts – This coupon will double! $.40/2 Pillsbury Grands or Sweet Rolls – I’ve seen them for 75¢ to $1 $.50/2 Pillsbury Rolled Pie Crusts – I have not seen these yet, but one of these days… $1.50/3 Pillsbury Refrigerated Cookie Dough – I got these FREE when they were reduced to 50¢ each $.50/2 Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls – usually 75¢ to $1 $.30/2 Pillsbury Biscuits – as low at 50¢ $.75/2 Yoplait Yogurt products – Splitz, Go-Gurts, 4-packs, etc., I see these often, usually marked at $1 each $1/1 Cranberry Naturals – You can find reduced juice in reduced produce and reduced dairy, usually $1 to $1.50 – I often get FREE juice You might also want to print out these Stonyfield coupons since I see those in reduced dairy often. And for sure you should carry around these Hood coupons. I found Hood milk for $1.50 per gallon! Once you start looking at the reduced sections at Shaw’s, you will get a good idea of what coupons you should carry around with you. And don’t forget about reduced deli! Shaw’s has Near East Rice or Couscous on sale starting today, Oct 7, for only 88¢ each. If you have the coupon from the 9/18 Smart Source insert, you can get it for free! Update: If you don’t have the SS coupon (I don’t… boo hoo), you can use the $1/2 Near East Couscous coupon on Redplum which makes them only 38¢ each! Use zip 19543 if you can’t find it. (Thanks Laura!) Buy (1) Near East Rice or Couscous on sale for $0.88 FREE is an excellent stockpile price, so stock up! Remember, there is no limit as to how many like coupons you can use at Shaw’s. There is only a limit of 4 like coupons if you are using coupons that will double (even then you can use more, but only the first 4 will double).
