I’m late posting the Shaw’s store coupons because they come out on Thursdays and I was headed to Mississippi when they came out. I’m home now and I’m telling you… I’m anxious to get to Shaw’s to see what I can score with this week’s store coupons!
I love the $1 OFF Fresh Express because it’s often in the reduced produce bin marked down to $.99… so FREE after the coupon!
I also love the $1 OFF Torpedo rolls because I find those marked down anywhere from $1.25 to $1.75 so mega cheap after the coupon!
And the Farm Stand Grape Tomatoes are on sale this week for $2 so only $1 after the coupon!

Everyone drags their feet about joining SavingStar and that’s mostly because people just don’t really understand how it all works. I was one of those people. Then, even after I finally joined, I did nothing about it for months.
I have since learned that joining SavingStar is a good move, even if you never clip a coupon. That’s because SavingStar gives you money back simply for buying items on their eCoupon list.
I activate every SavingStar eCoupon as they come out and I print a new list each time to keep in my coupon box. Then when I’m out and about, if I think I remember a SavingStar deal, I have my list handy and know exactly that to buy to get my refund!
Oh, and joining SavingStar is FREE! Yes, FREE! And we like FREE!
Basically, here’s how SavingStar works:
1. Register with SavingStar
2. Add your store cards to your account
3. Activate all the SavingStar eCoupons
4. Shop for participating items
5. Get money back via paypal (or other options)
So, why should you join SavingStar today? Because it can take a bit of time to register and add your cards. I mean really, you have to get up and get your wallet. Then you have to remember what you got up for! Then you’ll end up doing something else like starting a load of laundry. You will also need your reading glasses. They might be on your head, or in the bathroom, or between the couch pillows. See how long it can take to register? So don’t dilly dally… just sign up!
In my area (Sanford, ME), I was able to add Shaw’s, Hannaford, CVS and Rite Aid to my SavingStar account. Your location may offer many more options. You will need your store cards handy to enter the numbers into your account. For Hannaford, use the number on your little Hannaford sticker. For Shaw’s, request your tag.
More and more bloggers are including SavingStar eCoupons in their matchups. So, it’s easy to know what to buy and when. Even if you don’t use any of the eCoupons right away, sign up now so you will be ready for when a good deal comes along!
Remember, to get the money back savings, you always have to scan your card when you shop! Many times when you use manufacturer coupons along with SavingStar eCoupons, you end up getting FREE stuff! Did I mention we like FREE?

Here is a fantastic deal on the new Raisin Bran Cinnamon Almond cereal! The only not-so-fantastic part is that the coupons are not printable, but are from inserts. No biggie because you can get them super cheap from My Coupon Hunter and she has them in stock (remember, one lot is 5 coupons)!
Order your coupons now and you will get them in plenty of time to hit the sale. And remember, if your store runs out, ask for a rain check and get them to make it for multiples of 5 at $1.49 to include the catalina!
Here’s the deal at Shaw’s starting 7/20:
Buy (4) Raisin Bran Cinnamon Almond Cereal $2.49
Buy (1) Kellogg’s Krave cereal $2.49 (if included in the sale)
must buy 5 to get the catalina

Pay $5.45 at the register
Get $5.00 catalina toward future purchase
It’s like getting 5 boxes of cereal for 45¢ so only 9¢ each!
If Krave is not included, you can pick up (5) Raisin Bran and use all (5) coupons but only (4) will double. You would end up paying $.74 for the 5th box after the catalina. NOTE: I recently used (5) like coupons and when the cashier scanned the 5th it UNdoubled the first 4, so watch the register! If that happens, they have to take the 5th coupon out then put it in manually at face value.
EXTREME COUPONING TIP: if you want to stock up, you can do the transaction again and next time use the $5.00 catalina coupon from the previous transaction. You will pay only $.45 out of pocket next time around and you will get another $5.00 catalina (at least you should).

I just got back from taking a walk around Shaw’s (and I picked up my 30¢ Bisquick) and I checked out the reduced sections for you! Here’s what I found…
Reduced Produce (by the swinging doors) had nice pineapples for only $1.00 each! They also green peppers for $.59 per pound! There was also one 5 lb bag of potatoes for $1.00… sorry, but I grabbed those :O)
Reduced Deli has lots and lots of different brand hot dogs. One was Nathan’s and they were $5.99 with a $3.00 off peelie on them, so $2.99. That’s still way too expensive for me for hot dogs, but if it’s a brand you love, you might want to head over and grab some! Oh, they were super long ones.
Reduced Dairy has Ehrmann Bavarian Low Fat yogurt, reg $1.49, for only $.25 each! And if you have the $1/4 Ehrmann All Natural Bavarian Yogurt in the 6/10 RP (regional, exp 8/19), you can pick up 4 for FREE! I did not have the coupon but I splurged and picked up 2 because they look delish!
Reduced Grocery has Purina One Smart Blend cat food (7 pound bags) for $5.95 each, and Purina One Smart Blend kitten food, 3.5 pound bags, for $3.15 each. They also had Monistat 3 for $5.00. And they had Ace Knee Braces, $7.00, Ace Ankle Support, $5.25, Ace Ankle Braces, $4.50 and Ace Wrist Braces, $5.00. There is a $2/1 Ace Coupon that you can use for those HERE.

In my entire life, we have NEVER made green bean casserole in my family. I have NEVER seen it on the table for any holiday. I don’t know why, but it’s something we just never made. I’m not even sure I’ve ever tasted it. I’m sure maybe I have at someone else’s home, but it would have been years and years ago because I have zero memory of it.
