Heads up everyone!  I got an email from follower, Maria D, and she said she was able to score 6 boxes of Barilla Pronto pasta for only $.40 total at Shaw’s this week!  I know we’ve had that awesome $.70/1 Barilla Pronto coupon hanging around, but I was not sure the Pronto variety would be part of the b2g1 sale. Hey everyone!  I’m bringing a new weekly feature to the blog. Each week I will be posting my shopping list so you can see what I’m stocking up on.  If you need the same items, you can stock up too!

Please note that I’ll be doing lots of stocking up just by shopping sales with no coupons.  So if you’d like to save money on groceries without clipping coupons, be sure you come back every week to see what I’m getting.  Better yet, just don’t leave! lol

My List

Ground Beef $2.88/lb (see here) – I’m so happy to see this week long sale on ground beef! I never seem to make it to the store during 3 day sales, so there is no excuse for me to not buy some ground beef on Monday when I pick up the flyer.  I’d like at least 10 pounds.

Pork Sirloin Chops $1.49/lb (see here) – I just picked up some of these chops on Monday, but at this price, I’ll be buying more! I hope I can make room in the freezer for at least 2 packages.

Essential Everyday Cheese $1.77 (3 day sale, see here) – I’m putting this on my wish list. If I happen to get there during the 3 day sale, for sure I’ll buy cheese for my mother. I’m thinking I’d buy 4 bars at this price and toss them in the freezer.

That’s it for me.  There are a few other things below you might want to add to your stockpile if you are low.

Coke 2-liters $.88 $.88 (3 day sale, see here) – If you are brand fussy on soda and must have Coke, here is your chance to stock up! I know it says limit 6, but bring a few helpers with you to help you stock up.

My goodness, I’m really not finding any other pantry items that are worthy of stocking up on. It’s a slow week!

Those are my picks! If you see something else that you feel is a good sale price, go ahead and stock up. Once your stockpile is built, you will have the luxury of shopping only for items that are free of very cheap later!
