INGREDIENTS:

1 can (14 oz) fat free sweetened condensed milk (like this)
1 bag (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1: Grease an 8x8x2-inch pan with butter, all over the sides and bottom. Set aside.

2: Combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips in a saucepan. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is completely melted. Once the mixture is smooth, remove the pan from the heat.

3: Add the marshmallows and stir just enough to coat them in the fudge mixture, but don’t overstir. The marshmallows will melt if you stir too long.

4: Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top slightly. Refrigerate to set, 1 1/2 hours or longer. Once set, cut into squares and serve. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Darlene’s Tips: Want a S’mores version?  Add 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers with the marshmallows.  You can freeze and serve frozen if you like a more firm fudge. If too frozen, it will thaw fairly quickly. You can also leave at room temperature if you like a softer fudge. Add 1/4 chopped nuts if you want. You can also use any flavor morsels.
