Copycat Panera Kitchen Sink Cookies Recipe

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter, softened (not margarine)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chunks
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips or chunks
3/4 cup chopped pretzels
1/2 cup toffee bits
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat softened butter, sugars, vanilla and egg with electric mixer on medium speed or with spoon until light and fluffy.

2:  Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir in semisweet and milk chocolate chips, pretzels and toffee bits.

3:  On ungreased large cookie sheets, drop by rounded 1/2 cupfuls of dough 4 inches apart. Flatten slightly. Sprinkle a bit of sea salt on top of each cookie.

4:  Bake 13 to 16 minutes or until light brown around edges (centers will be soft). Cool 5 minutes then remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely.

Darlene’s Tips:  Alter this recipe any way you want.  I have never had a panera cookie and I did not make this recipe. I have no clue if it’s like the real thing or not. No desire to find out. lol  But drop by the 1/2 cup? Those must be some big ass cookies!
