Easy Apple Bread Recipe – Cake Mix Hack

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup milk
3 eggs
4 teaspoons apple pie spice (like this)
2 cups apples (about 2 medium), peeled and shredded

1: Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour bottoms only of two 8×4-inch loaf pans.

2: In large bowl, beat all ingredients except apples with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in apples. Divide batter evenly between pans.

3: Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

Darlene’s Tips:  I’m thinking you could totally skip the apple pie spice and use a spice cake mix instead!  You could also use a carrot cake mix. When the breads come out of the oven, you can spread a bit of butter on top then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or just sugar if you want (white sugar or brown). And try making this in muffin tins for individual servings!
