Easy Mummy Cookies Halloween Food Craft

INGREDIENTS:

Store bought cookies of your choice
1 container (1 lb) vanilla creamy ready-to-spread frosting
Candy eyes
optional: orange and green food colors (I would leave the frosting WHITE)

DIRECTIONS:
1: Tint your frosting if desired. I would totally skip that step and would leave the frosting white to look like a mummy instead of looking like it’s wrapped in veggie strips. lol
2: Spoon frosting into a cake decorator. Use a flat basket weave tip. Frost using a crisscross pattern over cookies to look like mummy bandages. Use the image above as a guide.
3: Attach candy eyes. Let stand until set, about 20 minutes.

Darlene’s Tips: This is a quick and easy food craft to bring to a Halloween party! If you bake your own cookies, you could use a gingerbread man cutter and decorate the entire body the same way.
