I have been doing some freelance writing since January of 2009.  What started out as a curious hobby has now turned into a full time addiction.  I was not aware that there are sites out there that pay you to write simple articles.  So far I write for three different sites.  And I want to share what I've learned about these sites so you can try writing too!  The money trickles in slowly in the beginning.  But if you stick with it you can earn good money through freelance writing!

I am excited to tell you about another writing site!  It's FireHow.  FireHow is very much like eHow.  It's a site where you write "how to" type articles.  But this site is fairly new (has only been around a year) and it's fresh!  And since there are less than 1,000 writers you have a very good chance of being featured!  I was featured on their homepage on my very second day of writing!

FireHow does not have a referral program.  So you don't need to sign up under me and you don't have to go out and get people to sign up under you to make money.  You simply write and submit "how to" articles and FireHow will share part of their advertising revenue with you based on how successful your article is.

I just joined FireHow and I'm already earning money!  I made payout my very first week and I expect to make over $50 during my first full month (Jan 2010).  By comparing FireHow to the other sites I write for, I expect to be earning about $200 a month on FireHow within 6 months.  For now I'm trying to publish as many articles as possible.  You can see my profile and list of articles using the link below, then click on the articles tab.

You will notice that many of my articles are repeats of my eHow articles.  As writers we own our articles.  And both eHow and FireHow are non-exclusive sites so you can reuse your articles.  So if you have articles on eHow, all you need to do is publish them on FireHow too!

Joining FireHow is quick and easy and it's free.  You can start writing right away!  And please add me as a friend when you join.  I will be your biggest cheerleader.  As with any writing site, you need to read their terms and follow their rules.  You can read up on how to get started here.
