Marshmallow Fluff Frosting Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1½ cups marshmallow cream or fluff (see tips below)
1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened to room temp
2¼ cups powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Beat marshmallow creme and softened butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until blended.  If too thick, add 1 or tablespoons of water.

2:  Beat in powdered sugar until fluffy. If necessary, add a bit more water, a few drops at a time, until thin enough to spread.

Darlene’s Tips: You can use Strawberry Marshmallow Fluff for strawberry frosting. Don’t get too worried about the exact measurements.  If too thick, add a few drops of water.  It too thin, add a bit more powdered sugar. Keep playing with it until you get the consistency  you like.  You can also add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of any flavor extract and/or a few drops of food coloring. Use on cakes, cupcakes, brownies or cookies.
