Someone once asked me how to figure out the percentage saved on a shopping trip. So, that prompted me to post a little math lesson in case you need to know too!
It’s the amount you saved divided by your total purchase.
Let’s do it with numbers…
Let’s say your total order was $58 but you only paid $12. You saved $46 (58 – 12 = 46).
Amount you saved ($46) divided by total purchase ($58) is .79 so you saved 79%
