Mummy Dogs Recipe – Easy Halloween Food Craft

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet
10 hot dogs
mustard for eyes
(see tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 375°F. 2: Unroll dough and cut into 4 rectangles using sharp knife or pizza cutter.  Then cut each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, making a total of 40 pieces of dough.

2:  Wrap 4 pieces of dough around the hot dog and cheese to look like “bandages,” stretching dough slightly to completely cover hot dog. Separate the dough near one end to make room for the eyes.

3: Place wrapped hot dogs on ungreased large cookie sheet.  Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. Draw eyes with mustard.

Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on eBay and at Walmart!

Darlene’s Tips:  You can serve a side of mustard, ketchup or even mayo as a dip. You could probably wrap some cooked meatballs (if frozen, thaw first) in the same way to make mummy heads!
