Oreo and Caramel Ice Cream Pie Recipe
Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
INGREDIENTS:
1 Pillsbury Pet-Ritz Frozen Deep Dish Pie Crust (from 12-oz. pkg.)
1 quart (4 cups) vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
1/3 to 1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 cup chopped Oreos
Darlene’s Tips: Use any cookies that you want or also any ice cream flavor. I’m sure all will be delish! And you don’t have to have the deep dish pie crust. If you have too much filling for your crust, simply put it in a container and eat as is or use it for fantastic ice cream cones!
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Bake pie crust as directed on package for baked shell. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
Step 2: Spread 2 cups ice cream in cooled baked shell. Drizzle half of the caramel topping over ice cream; sprinkle with 1/2 cup of chopped cookies. Repeat layers. Freeze at least 2 hours before serving. Store in freezer.
