I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Check out this huge selection of Betty Crocker Cookbooks!

INGREDIENTS:
1 (18.25-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil’s Food Cake Mix
1 (21-oz.) can cherry pie filling (check Dollar Tree)
3 eggs, beaten
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 13×9-inch pan.

2:  Combine all ingredients and stir until well blended. Pour into greased and floured pan.

3:  Bake at 350°F. for about 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool then frost as desired while in the pan. Cut and serve.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can frost the cake while it is still warm to let the frosting melt a bit. You can also poke the cake first with a fork then frost so some of the frosting will ooze down into the cake.  You can add up to 1/2 cup total of chococlate morsels and/or chopped nuts to the mix.

Triple Mint Brownies Recipe

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Check out this huge selection of Betty Crocker Cookbooks!

INGREDIENTS:
1 box Betty Crocker Mint Chip brownie mix (like this)
Water, oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
28 Andes Mints, unwrapped and halved ()
8 Mint Crème Oreo cookies, quartered ()
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 350°F. Line 8-inch square pan with nonstick foil, leaving enough hanging over sides of pan for easy removal.

2: Make brownie batter as directed on box, reserving mint chips packet for later. Stir in 36 Andes mint halves and 1/2 cup of the Oreo cookie pieces; spread in pan. Top batter with remaining 1/2 cup Oreo cookie pieces and sprinkle mint chips (from reserved packet) over top.

3: Bake 35 to 38 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes; top with remaining 20 Andes mint halves. Cool completely before serving, about 2 hours.

Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on  and at !

Darlene’s Tips:  If you can’t find the mint brownie mix, just use plain brownie mix and candy morsels of your choice (mint morsels can be hard to find). You can get extra mint flavor by adding mint extract to the brownie batter.

Souper Easy Chicken & Dumplings – 2 Ingredient Canned Soup Hack

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
2 cans (18.6 oz each) Progresso Rich & Hearty Chicken Pot Pie style soup
1 can (7.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Optional: chopped parsley or green onion for garnish
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat soup over medium heat in a 10-inch nonstick skillet, stirring occasionally, until bubbly.

2:  Separate dough into 10 biscuits and cut each into quarters.

3:  Place biscuit quarters on top of hot soup. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes.

4:  Cover skillet and simmer 8 to 10 minutes longer or until biscuits are no longer doughy.

Optional: Sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onion just before serving.

Darlene’s Tips: If you can’t find the chicken pot pie soup, just use any hearty chicken soup, or any soup you like. It does not have to be chicken.  You could double the cans of soup and just use just one can of biscuits. I’m sure there would still be enough dumplings.  You can serve this soup over noodles or rice.

(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F.

Easy Chili Cheese Dog Casserole Recipe – Just 5 Ingredients

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Check Out My eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
8 oz Velveeta cheese product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 cans (15 oz each) chili (with or without beans)
1 package (16 oz) hot dogs, sliced
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 375°F. Scatter cheese cubes in even layer in ungreased 13×9-inch pan.

2:  In 2-quart saucepan, mix chili and sliced hot dogs. Heat over medium-high heat 4 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until hot. Spoon evenly over cheese in baking dish.

3:  Press perforations to seal the crescent rolls. Carefully place over chili mixture.

4:  Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top and bake 5 to 7 minutes more or until cheese is melted.

Darlene’s Tips: You can add up to 1/2 cup of chopped onions and/or peppers to this casserole. Just add on top of the chili and hot dogs then add the cheese.  You can serve this inside sub roll for a chili cheese dog sandwich. You can also fill taco shells or roll in flour tortillas for chili cheese burritos.

1 box muffin mix of your choice (14 to 16 oz size)
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1/2 cup water
optional: glaze (see my tips below)
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 375°F. Grease bottom only of 8×4-inch loaf pan.

2:  Stir muffin mix, water, melted butter and eggs in medium bowl until blended (batter will be lumpy).  Pour into pan.

3:  Bake 33 to 38 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and top of loaf is deep golden brown. Cool 15 minutes. Loosen sides of loaf from pan and remove to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

Darlene’s Tips: For an easy glaze, just add a few drops of water or milk to 1 cup of powdered sugar and stir.  Keep adding the liquid a few drops at a time until you get the consistency you want.  You could add up to 1/2 cup of chopped nuts, raisins, morsels, or whatever you like to the mix.
