Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb , cut into 1-inch pieces
1 can (16.3 oz) (8 biscuits)
1 bottle (18 oz) , any flavor
2 cups (8 oz)
Optional: for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13×9-inch (3-quart) with .
2: Heat over medium-high heat. Add chicken to skillet and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink in center. Remove from heat. Cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
3: Meanwhile, separate dough into 8 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 8 pieces. Set aside.
4: Place cooked chicken in . Pour barbecue sauce over chicken and stir to combine. Add biscuit dough pieces to chicken mixture and gently toss to combine. Spread mixture evenly in baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over top.
5: Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Sprinkle cilantro over top if desired. Serve immediately.

Darlene’s Tips: You can use cooked ground beef instead of chicken or fully cooked meatballs (thawed, if frozen). You can also add chopped onion. Add it to the meat you are cooking or add to the sauce for onions with a bit of a bite. Try pasta sauce instead of barbecue sauce if you’re not in to barbecue sauce. You can also use any shredded cheese. Experiment!

Darlene’s Tips: You can use whatever seasonings you like for this recipe. Want it spicy? Add some ! You might want to try putting the bisquick mix in a plastic bag and shaking the chicken pieces, one at a time, in the bag. If your chicken is too dry to make the coating stick, dip it in milk or even water first.
