Youtube Stats – Crumb Quilt Adventure Episodes 3 thru 6

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

In this series, I show you stats for some of my videos so you can see how youtube works for content creators.  Please remember, I am a very small youtuber compared to what is out there and my growth has been very slow.  But I don’t give up! I just keep going and make changes along the way.  Hopefully sharing my stats can help other content creators by showing them what they might be able to expect over the life of their channel.  I will be sharing videos that performed well and videos that fell flat. I hope you enjoy this series!

This Crumb Quilt Adventure was very exciting to me waaaaaaay back when I was recording it.  It was the first time that I had videos getting lots of views as soon as I uploaded them.  But I’m discovering that the earnings are not what I expected. So I’m going to speed up this particular series so I can move on to other videos that I’m curious about.  I’ll do 4 episodes in this post then maybe I’ll wrap it up in two more posts.

Episode 6 – $31.97 (currently earning 35.5¢ per day)

What does this mean?

This is flat out depressing. lol  And I can’t believe I was uploading almost daily.  I must have been spending all my time sewing, recording, swearing (but probably not on camera back then) and editing. I also can’t believe that I thought this series was a big success for me. It was in some ways.  It was my first big series, at least it felt very big for me at the time.  But it has not been a financial success.  At least not the first 6 episodes.  There are 6 more episodes to study, but I’m not very hopeful for those either.

I’ll be back with Episodes 7, 8 and 9 soon!  If you want to see the stats for the previous videos, click this tag then scroll down to see the previous posts.

FREE GIFT for New $5 Patrons
40 Rotary Cut 2″ Squares
10 Prints, 4 of Each Print
prints are random and may not match the image

A FREE Gift for the New Year!

Join my Patreon at the $5 level Jan 1 thru Jan 5 and you will get a FREE GIFT simply for joining. No additional purchase needed!  The free gift is 40 of my little rotary cut 2 inch squares (yes, it’s a new addiction).  You can use the little squares for smaller projects like patchwork hot pads, mug rugs, a phone case, whatever! You can also make some fun 4 patch or 9 patch postage stamp quilt blocks to add to any quilt. You will get 40 squares, 10 different prints. 4 of each print. The prints are random and may not match what you see in the image.

Can I get more than one free gift?

You can!  Get one free gift for joining, then earn up to 5 more by inviting your friends to also join.  I have details inside patreon.

Why should I join?

Because joining instantly makes you an exclusive shopper!  You will be part of my weekend Flash Sales and Fabric Frenzies. You will SAVE $$$ on my fabric because I sell to my exclusive shoppers at a lower price than I list in my ebay store.  You will also have much more fabric to choose from.  I often sell 50% to 75% of my stock during my Fabric Frenzies. During Flash Sales, I sometimes sell up to 90% of my new listings.  You are missing out on all that fabric!

Who can join?

Anyone can join, but I only ship to the USA during my exclusive sales. If you are outside the USA, you need to wait until any leftovers are moved to my ebay store. Free gifts are also for USA only.

Do I have to join Patreon? Can I become a Youtube Member instead?

At this time, I can only offer the free gift to new patrons, not new youtube members, because there is no way for me to get the info that I need through the youtube platform. Patreon makes it easier for me to keep track of things.

What are you waiting for?

Join right now and your free gift will be on the way! Be sure you include your mailing address when you join and YOU MUST CHECK THE OPTION TO RECEIVE MAIL. I have learned that patreon will not share your mailing address with me unless you check that option (I don’t see any of your info, patreon handles all that).  I will confirm that your free gift is on the way by sending you a private message inside patreon. If you join and you do not hear from me, please send me a private message inside patreon to let me know.

Thank you!

Muffin Tin Secret Center Cookies Recipe – Easy 2 Ingredient Cookie Dough Hack

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 roll (16.5 oz-ish) refrigerated cookie dough
1 flat chocolate bar of your choice
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 16 regular-size muffin cups.

2:  Break chocolate bar into pieces.

3:  For each cookie, shape heaping tablespoon of dough around pieces of chocolate and place in cup.  Make sure the chocolate pieces are completely covered.

4:  Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cookies will be soft to touch in center. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove from pan to cooling rack and cool additional 15 minutes. (Centers of cookies will sink slightly.) Serve warm or at room temp.

Darlene’s Tips: You can add 1/2 cup of finely chopped nuts to the cookie dough and knead them in. You can try this with other candy bars too like maybe chopped up snickers.  If your candy oozes out a bit, no biggie.  To make the cookies warm again, pop them in the microwave for about 10 seconds before serving. A glass of ice cold milk is almost necessary, but optional. And remember, I’m not eating this shit. I leave that up to you. lol

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Below is a list of my Top 10 most viewed videos for the week of 12/23/19 to 12/29/19.  If you have not seen them all, now is a great time to binge watch!

Narrow Fabric Scraps is still number one.  I wonder how many weeks it will hang on to the top spot?  It’s bringing in some amazing numbers for me. I’ll be doing a stats video on that one after it slows down a bit. For now, I’m just watching it grow.  It’s close to 176K views and still going strong… and it’s only 3 weeks old!

And I see that my Crumb Quilt Adventure is back in the top 10. Happy to see that!  For those of you who follow this series, you’ll probably notice that I have several older videos that are almost always in the Top 10. I’ll be doing stats on those too.  I have not checked the analytics on some of those for a long time. I’m to see how much they earned!

Check out my New Youtube Stats Blog Series where I show you various stats on some of my videos including how much they earn!

No Bake Nutella Oatmeal Drop Cookies Recipe

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
2 cups old-fashioned oats
3/4 cup Nutella hazelnut spread
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1: Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.

2: Add the sugar, butter and milk to a 4-quart saucepan. Heat on medium until you get to a rolling boil. Boil 1 minute then remove from heat.

3: Stir in Nutella until creamy and combined. Stir in 2 cups old-fashioned oats until well coated.

4: Immediately drop by 2-tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Cool about 15 minutes or until set.

Darlene’s Tips: You can add 1/2 cup of shredded coconut to this recipe for more chewiness. You can add 1/2 cup chopped nuts too. Instead of dropped cookies, you could also spread in a pan and let set then cut into bars.

Butter Pecan Cookies Recipe – Easy Sugar Cookie Dough Hack

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
2 tablespoons melted butter, cooled
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
See tips for optional butter glaze
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F.  Break up cookie dough in large bowl.

2:  Add the cooled melted butter, pecans, flour and brown sugar to the cookie dough and stir with a spoon or knead with hands until well mixed.

3:  Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on large ungreased cookie sheets.

4:  Bake 11 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 2 minutes then remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Darlene’s Tips: To make the optional glaze, start with about 1/3 cup of powdered sugar and add a teaspoon at a time of cooled melted butter and stir. Add more butter as necessary until you get a consistency you like. Too thin?  Add more powdered sugar. You can also make a simple glaze using powdered sugar and milk or water. Just remember to add a tiny bit of liquid at a time. You can try this recipe with other flavor cookie doughs and different nuts. You can add candy morsels too!

Youtube Stats – Crumb Quilt Adventure Episode 2

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

In this series, I show you stats for some of my videos so you can see how youtube works for content creators.  Please remember, I am a very small youtuber compared to what is out there and my growth has been very slow.  But I don’t give up! I just keep going and make changes along the way.  Hopefully sharing my stats can help other content creators to know what they might be able to expect over the life of their channel.  I will be sharing videos that performed well and videos that fell flat. I hope you enjoy this series!

Video we are exploring: Crumb Quilting Adventure – Making My First 6×6 Crumb Quilt Block | Ep. 2

Video was uploaded on: August 18, 2017

Date of this post: 12/29/19.

Video is over 2 years old at the time of this post.  All stats are up to the date of this post.

Watch time:  10.9K hours

Total earnings: $270.72

Earnings for the past 90 days: $27.24 (currently earning about 30¢ per day).

What does this mean?

This episode earned even less than Episode 1. This one stinks too. Mega stinks. lol  Again, I did not have as many subscribers then as I do now, but I’m pretty sure I had other videos back then, or even before, that earned more.  It will be fun to go through more of the old ones to see how they compare.

When I’m done with the stats for this series, I will have an updated list so we can easily compare all the crumb quilt episodes to see which one performed the best.

And in case you are wondering, no, I do not watch my old videos.  I’m sometimes forced to watch part of one because I want to mention it in a current video and I want to be sure I’m linking to the correct one. But for this series, I don’t plan on watching any of the videos I’m doing stats on. No time for that. No desire either. lol

I’ll be back with the stats on Episode 3 of the Crumb Quilt Adventure soon!

If you like this series, please subscribe to this blog then check your email to verify. You’ll get one email per day with all my blog posts.  You can also join my Peanut Gallery group. Thanks!
