It’s Flash Sale Weekend time! I have some awesome new items available and plan to list more on Sat and Sun.
I’m excited to be offering something new! Short Strips! I might call them shorties for short. lol. These are strips that are 10 inches wide and various heights, like 3 inches, 2 inches, 1 inch. They are perfect for strip set quilt blocks!
I have some batik shorties today but I’ll be listing lots more sets in various fabrics. I don’t know if these will end up making over to ebay or not. My gut is telling me that my patrons and members will grab them all. But I did make quite a few sets, so there might be some leftovers.
You must be an exclusive shopper to shop this sale at LOWER PRICES than I offer on ebay, and still with FREE SHIPPING! Plus you get to pick from a much larger variety of stuff!
What are you waiting for? Join now and get in on the deals!
Join the platform of your choice and see what I have up for grabs!
You must become a Patron ($5/mo) or Youtube Member ($4.99/mo). I suggest Patreon since they have a better way to navigate the site.
Exclusive shopping is for USA only. If you are outside of the USA, you need to wait for items to appear on ebay and you must pay shipping through ebay’s global shipping program. Shipping is free for USA.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
3 cups chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 jar (12.25 oz) caramel ice cream topping
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (16 squares)
(see my tips below)
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Press cookie dough evenly in bottom of ungreased 13×9-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes.
2: Sprinkle 1 cup of the chocolate chips and 1 1/2 cups of the pecans over partially baked crust. Set aside.
3: In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, caramel topping and graham cracker crumbs. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Pour over crust in pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 1/2 cups pecans.
4: Bake 25 to 32 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown and pecans are lightly toasted.
5: Remove from oven then place pan on a cooling rack for 30 minutes then loosen sides from pan, but do not cut. Cool completely, about 3 hours longer. (For firmer bars, let stand for 5 hours.) Cut as desired while still in the pan.
Darlene’s Tips: You can quicken the setting time by putting the pan in the refrigerator. You can experiment with this recipe by using different cookie dough flavors, different flavor candy morsels, different flavor ice cream toppings (like hot fudge) and different kinds of nuts!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed very ripe bananas (2 medium)
(see my tips below)
DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13×9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Press sugar cookie dough in bottom of baking dish. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly set. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
2: In large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time, scraping side of bowl between additions. Beat in mashed bananas.
3: Pour over cooled crust. Bake about 30 minutes or until outer edges of cheesecake are set. Cool completely, about 15 minutes, then refrigerate 30 minutes before cutting.
Darlene’s Tips: You can totally add some chopped walnuts to this recipe, or any nuts you want. You could also try peanut butter cookie dough. I bet that would taste delish with the banana flavor!

In this series, I will show you stats for some of my videos so you can see how youtube works for content creators. Please remember, I am a very small youtuber compared to what is out there and my growth has been very slow. But I don’t give up! I just keep going and make changes along the way. Looking at my stats will be good for me. I need to see what is working and what is not working. Hopefully, it can help other content creators to know what they might be able to expect over the life of their channel. I will be sharing videos that performed well and videos that fell flat. I hope you enjoy this series!
Video we are exploring: Crumb Quilting Adventure – How to Start Piecing the Blocks | Ep. 1
Video was uploaded on: August 17, 2017
Date of this post: 12/24/19.
Video is over 2 years old at the time of this post. All stats are up to the date of this post.
Watch time: 24.9K hours
Total earnings: $498.15
Earnings for the past 90 days: $56.27 (currently earning about 63¢ per day).
What does this mean?
Bottom line, the earnings absolutely stink. I’ll be curious to see how the other videos in this series performed. Don’t get me wrong, almost $500 is nice, but I really expected it to be more especially since the video is over 2 years old and since it is the start of the series. I’m thinking it was the most watched in the series? Maybe not! We’ll know when I do the stats for the other episodes.
The most this video ever earned in one day was $11.61. That was on day 4. It earned $152.63 for the first 3 months then it pretty much flatlined to under $1 per day. I see a teeny tiny spike over the past 3 months, but not much. No major spikes at all for this video. That means that youtube never put it out there as a suggested video. When youtube promotes a video later, there is always a spike in earnings. I will show you examples of that on some of my other videos.
I’m very curious to see if any of the videos in the crumb quilt series did better than this! I’m sure I was thrilled back then to earn a whole $11.61 in one day on just one video. But I had 22.6K subbies at that time, so that’s still kind of pathetic. lol. Just the same, seems like that video should have earned more in over 2 years. Much more!
Let’s compare to one of my recent videos. How I Turn Narrow Fabric Scraps Into New Fabric was uploaded on Dec 10, 2019, just 2 weeks ago. At the time of this post, it has 111,406 views and has already earned $553.92. Holy shit! I’m positive no other video of mine has earned even close to that much in such a short amount of time. It’s breaking all kinds of records for me. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one and will do stats on it after it settles a bit.
I’ll be back with the stats on Episode 2 of the Crumb Quilt Adventure soon!
