INGREDIENTS:

3 cups Original Bisquick mix
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 large eggs
2 cups fresh berries (raspberries, strawberries, blueberries)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.

2:  In large bowl, beat all ingredients except the berries with electric mixer until well blended.

3:  Pour batter evenly in pan and top with the berries.

4:  Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes before serving.

Darlene’s Tips: You could also try cut up pieces of fresh fruit like peaches or apples. Drained canned fruit or berries might word out great too.  No electric mixer?  Mix by hand!  Add any spices you might like and chopped nuts would be good too. Experiment!

1 can (12.4 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Bake cinnamon rolls as directed on package. Let rolls cool completely.

2:  Spray griddle or 10-inch skillet with cooking spray and heat skillet over medium heat. Slice each cinnamon roll in half crosswise.

3:  Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow dish until blended.

4:  Dip each cinnamon roll slice into egg mixture, turning to coat completely. Place on griddle. Cook about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

5:  Add a few drops of water or milk to the icing to make it a pourable syrup consistency.  Pour onto the cinnamon french toasts as desired.

Darlene’s Tips: For more icing, just add water or milk, a few drops at a time, to powdered sugar until you get the consistency you want or use any syrup. You could try this with biscuits too!

Pineapple Shrimp Stir Fry Recipe

Pineapple Shrimp Stir Fry Recipe

Check Out My eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 lb uncooked deveined shelled medium shrimp, thawed if frozen, tail shells removed
1 cup matchstick-cut carrots
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 can (8 oz) pineapple chunks, drained
2/3 cup sweet-and-sour sauce
salt and pepper to taste

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat nonstick wok or 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook and stir 1 minute.

2:  Add carrots and bell pepper. Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp turns pink and opaque, and vegetables are crisp-tender.

3:  Add pineapple chunks and sweet-and-sour sauce. Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes longer or until pineapple is thoroughly heated. If desired, serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.

Darlene’s Tips:  Want them sweet and spicy?  Add some cayenne pepper to the mix! You can use chicken instead of shrimp.  Tossing in some marichino cherries with the pineapple would be super delish too!
