1 package (3 lb) frozen chicken wings, thawed and drained
2 tablespoons oil
1 package (1 oz) ranch salad dressing & seasoning mix
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos here!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 425°F. Line two 15x10x1-inch pans with foil, and spray with cooking spray.

2:  In large bowl, add chicken wings and oil; mix well. Stir in ranch dressing mix and toss to coat evenly.

3:  Spread wings in pans. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven, and turn wings over. Return to oven, rotating pans, and continue baking 15 to 20 minutes or until no longer pink and temperature at least 165°F.

Darlene’s Tips:  For hot and spicy wings, add a bit of cayenne pepper to the mix. You can bake on a rack if you prefer them to be more crispy.  Serve with ranch dressing or dipping sauce of your choice.

Pretty Pastel Easter Cookies Recipe – Cookie Mix & Gelatin Hack

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Pretty Pastel Easter Cookies Recipe

Check Out My New eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 pouch Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix (or store brand)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O gelatin strawberry-flavored (or store brand)
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O gelatin berry blue-flavored
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O gelatin lime-flavored
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O gelatin orange-flavored
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos here!

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1:  Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper.

Step 2:  In large bowl, beat cookie mix, softened butter and egg with spoon or electric mixer on medium speed until well combined. Separate dough into 4 small bowls.

Step 3:  Add a half packet of each color gelatin per bowl; knead dough to work color in until well combined. Roll each bowl of dough into 5 small balls of dough each.

Step 4:  Pour remaining gelatin onto 4 small plates; roll each ball of dough in its corresponding color. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart.

Step 5:  Bake about 12 minutes or until lightly golden on edges. Cool completely before serving.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can frost or decorate these as desired.  Get some decorative Easter tins at your local dollar store and give these cookies as an Easter gift!  I’d like to try this using refrigerated cookie dough. I bet that would work too.

Easter Nest Cookies – Food Craft Recipe

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Easter Nest Cookies

Check Out My New eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
Round cookies of your choice (store bought or bake your own)
1 container (12 oz) Betty Crocker Whipped fluffy white frosting
1 cup flaked coconut
Food color
Jelly beans
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos here!

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Frost cookies as shown in the image.

2:  Add about 1/4 coconut to a 1-quart resealable food-storage plastic bag (see my tips below). Add 2 to 3 drops food color and shake bag to blend color. It may be necessary to add a drop or two of water to help disperse the color evenly or add additional food color until desired color is reached. Repeat with other colors.

3:  Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon colored coconut onto each cookie and top with jelly beans.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can put the coconut and food coloring into a small plastic container with a lid and shake it. It’s easier to get all the coconut out so there is no waste. Wash the container for the next batch. If you don’t like jelly beans, chocolate eggs will work!  Or top with a peeps chick!  A big coconut nest on the top of a cake might be cool too!

Mini Chicken Pot Pies – Easy 4 Ingredient Muffin Tin Recipe

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Mini Chicken Pot Pies Recipe

Check Out My New eBay Store!

INGREDIENTS:
check for ingredient coupons here
1 package (10 oz or about 2 cups) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 cup diced cooked chicken
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits
(see my tips below)

See my Darlene’s Concoctions videos here!

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1:  Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, combine vegetables, chicken and soup. Mix well.

Step 2:  Flatten each biscuit by pressing in your hands until it’s about 5 inches round. Place 1 round in each of 8 greased regular-size muffin cups. Firmly press in bottom and up side, forming 3/4-inch rim.

3:  Spoon a generous 1/3 cup chicken mixture into each. Pull edges of dough over filling toward center; pleat and pinch dough gently to hold in place.

Step 4:  Bake at 375°F 20 to 22 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from pan.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can sprinkle some shredded Cheddar cheese over each puff about 5 minutes before the end of the baking time. You can use any frozen (but thawed) veggies you want. You can also used canned but their texture will be softer. Also try this with other cooked meats, like ground beef, ham, turkey, whatever!
