Easy Homemade Chocolate Fudge Sauce Recipe

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Easy Homemade Chocolate Fudge Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed)
1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:
1:  In 2-quart saucepan, heat milk, chocolate chips and sugar to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat once it reaches a full boil.

2:  Stir in butter until sauce is smooth and creamy. Cool about 30 minutes or until sauce begins to thicken. Store covered in refrigerator up to 4 weeks.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can do this with any flavor morsels… like butterscotch! If you don’t have the butter, don’t worry about it. Maybe add a teaspoon up to a tablespoon of oil instead if you want. Or just skip that ingredient and it will be okay.  If your sauce is too thick when it’s time to serve, simply heat in the microwave a few seconds at a time until it melts a bit.  If it’s too thin, well then you have choclate syrup instead of sauce! lol  Either way, I’m sure it’s still delish!

I just got an affiliate email from Lozo with new coupons. When Jeff says new, I’m not sure exactly how new they are or if they might be old but reset. But I’m passing them along to you so you can check them out!

FYI  I know many people say “it’s a Lozo coupon” but there is no such thing.  These are coupons that are out there and are hosted by whatever company is hosting them. Lozo, run by Jeff, is just an affiliate program that puts coupons together and he posts them on his blog.  He gets pennies in his hat for doing that (lots of pennies because he has a big hat).  Jeff then takes on partners like me to promote the coupons and I get some of his pennies… which used to be a penny per print or less, meaning I might have needed to generate 2 or 3 prints to equal a penny. Not sure what the cut is now, but I’ll find out, because I’m curious. All other affiliates are paying next to nothing, which is the reason I quit this gig 3 years ago. Now I don’t give a shit about the pennies because I have youtube fame (sooooo totally kidding! lol). Just sharing the coupons so you can see them. Very happy to be doing even a little bit of this on my blog again.

3-Ingredient Slow-Cooker Brown Sugar & Beer Pulled Beef Recipe

3-Ingredient Slow-Cooker Brown Sugar & Beer Pulled Beef Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
4 lb beef pot roast
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) stout beer
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:
1:  Add the beef to a slow cooker. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Pour the beer over the beef.

2:  Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Darlene’s Tips:  You can serve on buns or as is on a plate with any sides you want. Baked beans and cornbread would be awesome! Or rice. Or potatoes. Whatever! If you want a saucier version, add about a cup of your favorite barbeque sauce. Don’t want the beer?  Try using a can of cola instead. Feel free to also add your favorite seasonings.
