DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 375°F. Line large cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper. Remove dough from can; do not unroll. Using serrated knife, cut dough roll into 11 rounds.

2:  Using photo as a guide, arrange dough into shape of tree on cookie sheet, spacing slightly apart, and ending with one round for the base. Gently press middle of each round to create a well for topping.

3:  In small bowl, mix cream cheese and 1/4 cup powdered sugar with spoon until mixed well. Spoon 1 rounded teaspoon cream cheese mixture on center of each dough round, spreading slightly. Top each with 1 cherry.

4:  Bake 16 to 19 minutes or until golden brown and dough is baked through.

5:  In small bowl, mix 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon milk, adding more (few drops at a time) as necessary for desired drizzling consistency. Drizzle topping on top of crescent tree, and serve warm.

Darlene’s Tips:  You could top with if you prefer. You could also use candied cherries which usually come in both red and .  And some red shoestring licorice might make nice garland!

Darlene’s Tips:  You can use just plain brown pretzels. I think I’d even like that better since the sale on the pretzels would look like snow! And you can use any round red candy if you want your reindeer to be Rudolph the red nosed reindeer! If you don’t have , any white round candy will do or you could cut a mini marshmallow into slices, place on chocolate then use a chocolate chip for the pupil.
