I have been ordering little goodies for Skylar during my eBay Finds blog series. The stuff I order for her is all very inexpensive and the items come from overseas so they can take a while to arrive. But we are at the point that she’s getting items on a regular basis, sometimes multiple things in one week! She loves going to the mail box.
Here are the items she has received so far:

She said it’s cool to be getting jewelry in the mail!
She immediately used this purple powder in slime and liked
it so much that she asked for blue. Blue is on the way!
She thought this was cool!
She liked this one too!
Skylar was clueless as to what this was. I told her it’s nail art
but can also be added to her slime. Then she loved it. lol
More paint because she loves paint!
This one was a hit too!
I got her the multi-color pack.
She loves anything that she can mix in slime!

When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

Mummy Hot Dogs Recipe Halloween Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet
2 1/2 slices American cheese, quartered (2.5 oz)
10 hot dogs
mustard for eyes
(see my tips below)

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 375°F.
2: Unroll dough; cut into 4 rectangles.
3: With knife or kitchen scissors, cut each rectangle lengthwise into 10 pieces, making a total of 40 pieces of dough. Slice each slice of cheese lengthwise into 4 strips.
4: Place one strip of cheese on the back side of a hot dog. Wrap 4 pieces of dough around the hot dog and cheese to look like “bandages,” stretching dough slightly to completely cover hot dog. Separate the dough near one end to make room for the eyes.
5: On ungreased large cookie sheet, place wrapped hot dogs with the cheese side down).
5: Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are hot. Draw eyes with mustard.

Darlene’s Tips: You can serve a side of mustard, ketchup or even mayo as a dip. You can skip the cheese if you want. It will still work.

Sweet & Salty Halloween Fudge Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 bag (12 oz) chocolate morsels (2 cups)
1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
1 cup coarsely chopped chocolate-covered malted milk balls
1 cup coarsely chopped pretzels
3/4 cup candy corn

DIRECTIONS:
1: Line 8-inch square pan with foil, leaving foil overhanging at 2 opposite sides of pan; spray foil with cooking spray. In 2-quart saucepan, heat condensed milk, chocolate chips and butter over medium heat 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until smooth. Remove from heat. Fold in chopped malted milk balls and pretzels.
2: Pour mixture into pan, spreading evenly with spatula. Top with candy corn, pressing gently to adhere. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Use foil to lift from pan. Cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.

Darlene’s Tips: You can add any candy that you want to this mix. You could add chopped nuts too. You can use any flavor . White fudge with would be cool!
