Easy S’mores Brownies Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box (1 lb 6.25 oz) Betty Crocker Supreme original brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
3 cups miniature marshmallows
6 whole graham crackers, broken into small pieces
3 bars (1.55 oz each) Hershey’s milk chocolate candy, broken into 1-inch squares

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make brownies as directed on box for 13×9-inch pan. After removing pan from oven, set oven control to broil.
2: Immediately sprinkle marshmallows and graham crackers over warm brownies. Broil with top 4 to 5 inches from heat 30 to 60 seconds or until marshmallows are golden brown. (Watch carefully; marshmallows and graham crackers will brown quickly.)
3: Sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Cool 30 minutes before serving (yummy served warm).

Darlene’s Tips: You can use chocolate morsels instead of the candy bars. You can also add chopped nuts of your choice to the brownie mix for nutty s’mores! Serve warm (you can heat in the microwave for a few seconds) with a scoop of ice cream.

It’s Saturday!
I’m very relieved that I do not have to go out today. Not unless something comes up. I want so much to just stay home and work all day. Work all weekend, actually. Love to work.
Yesterday, I mentioned that it was a rough day and I’d have to fake it if I recorded. Fake it I did. I took you to Walmart with me. You can see that video here. What you don’t know is I cried on the way to the store, I actually cried in the store, then I cried during the ride home. I didn’t cry on camera. Don’t even think I mentioned it. It was a crying day. I cried until I finally fell asleep very late last night. The tears are for nothing in particular, but over many things that just build up. So far, I feel better today. I think I’m done crying for now. lol
Last night I edited the asmr video that I recorded the day before. In that video (it will be up later), I mentioned that I still was not monetized. But then last night, just for the hell of it, I checked my asmr account and I could not believe my eyes! I GOT MONETIZED! Looks like that happened on Aug 8. I never got an email. On the 8th I earned one whole penny. On the 9th I earned 16 cents. They just updated for the 10th and I earned another dime. You have no idea just how excited that makes me! My first mini goal is $5.00 in one month. I bet I can reach that goal in September if I try hard enough. Thank you to all those who subscribed to my channel and gave me the watch time! Very much appreciated!
Today, I hope to start a quilt top for a video! I’m so anxious to get back to sewing. I have not sewn for weeks other than mending some clothing for my mother. I hope to have the quilt top done soon and since I will be editing that video, you won’t have to wait for it.
I also have something fun planned for my patrons this weekend. I hope I can start that today or tonight the latest. It involves fabric!

When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

Easy 5-Ingredient Banana Monkey Bread Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

3 ripe bananas, sliced
2 cans (16.3 oz each) Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layers refrigerated biscuits
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup butter
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with cooking spray (be sure you give it a heavy coating of spray). Arrange 1 and 1/2 bananas, sliced, in bottom of pan.
2: Separate 2 cans refrigerated biscuits into 16 biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
3: In large bowl or on platter, stir together 1 cup granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. Roll biscuit pieces in sugar mixture; arrange evenly over bananas in pan. Top with remaining 1 and 1/2 bananas, sliced.
4: In medium microwavable bowl or dish, microwave 1 cup butter on high until melted. Add 1/2 cup of the leftover sugar/cinnamon mixture and 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar; beat with whisk until combined. Pour mixture evenly over biscuit pieces.
5: Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown and thoroughly cooked. Let stand at least 5 minutes. Place large platter or plate upside down over pan; turn platter and pan over. Remove pan.

Darlene’s Tips: You can add chocolate morsels to the layers for a chocolate chip banana monkey bread. Some chopped nuts and/or shredded coconut would be good too. Experiment!
