It’s Monday!
What I love most about Mondays is I get to print my clean schedule for the week. I get very excited about the beginning of my work week! Can you say that about your job? I hope you can!
What I don’t love about this Monday is that I have an appointment with another specialist today. This on is in Portland and it’s this afternoon. That pretty much ruins my entire day since I never feel like starting something before an appointment. I was at least able to get all my blog work done, so that’s good.
After my appointment I need to stop off somewhere for bread for my mother. I might just swing by Hannaford when I get back into town I will be bringing my camera but not sure if I’ll record or not. All depends on how I feel after hearing what the specialist tells me. Or maybe I’ll have some news to share with patrons (you can follow my health updates on patreon) although I have two more doctor appointments scheduled so I might just wait until I have more info.
Right now I must hurry up and finish editing my new ASMR video. It’s scheduled for early release for my patrons for today. How quickly I got behind once my pre-recorded videos ran out! I must catch up and get ahead again.
There will be no swimming today. Still a rainy day and I will be home late after the doctor and bread shopping, lol. I will be checking into the YMCA to see what their pool schedule looks like. And I might not wait until winter.

When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

3 Ingredient Ranch Chicken Recipe
a General Mills Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb)
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs (any flavor)
non stick spray or 2 tablespoons oil for cooking or use non-stick pan

DIRECTIONS:
Step 1: Dip chicken into dressing, then coat with bread crumbs.
Step 2: In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat or spray with cooking spray or use non-stick pan. Cook chicken 12 to 15 minutes, turning once, until outside is golden brown and juice is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
Darlene’s Tips: This would also be great cold in a sub roll and add your favorite fixings like lettuce, tomato, etc. You can also make just one serving at a time if you don’t want leftovers.

It’s Sunday!
It’s raining. I will not be swimming today. It’s not the rain stopping me as I love to swim in the rain. It’s the fact that I know I’d be alone in the water and I just don’t like that idea. So I’m skipping swimming for today.
Derrick just called me and he has fantastic news! Mario Barth, the tattoo artist to the stars, is hiring Derrick and two other band members to play backup for Mario’s two-man band in Austria! Derrick went out there a few months back and now he gets to go again. This time it’s for about 10 days and he’ll be in Vienna, which I’ve just learned is the capital of Austria.
Derrick’s entire trip is paid for, flights, private room, food and whatever else Mario has up his sleeve (no tattoo pun intended, lol). Last time, Mario booked sightseeing tours for the band and spoiled them rotten. On top of this, Derrick makes a nice chunk of money. Just so incredibly happy that he gets to experience stuff like this! His trip is coming up soon. I think he said he leaves August 5.
And no, Derrick does not have any tattoos. I don’t think he even wants any.
Since I’m staying home today, I plan on cooking some rice for my mother to freeze. And I want to start a crocheted afghan video. This will be Derrick practice video that he will be editing for me. That video won’t be out for a while because I want to complete the series (or it might be all in one video) before I upload any part of it. And Derrick needs time to edit. Not sure if we can get this done before his trip. But it will happen at some point, so stay tuned!
And don’t worry, I will still be recording and uploading videos while waiting for the afghan video! I’m not going to make you go weeks with nothing. I’ll still be doing other stuff like car vlogs, tag alongs, chats, shit like that.
Since it’s a very dark and gray day, I really need to take advantage of that and record for ASMR. I like it when it’s not too bright. I love to record during the late night hours, but I can’t be sure that I’ll feel up to it by then. And with my health woes (that’s a patreon exclusive topic), I get tired half way through the day then it’s hard for me to do anything else.
