When shopping on ebay, always read the descriptions. Some items ship from overseas and can take a few weeks to arrive. Usually the description will state how long shipping might take. Also, for clothing, overseas sizes usually run on the small size so it’s good to order larger by a size or two. Always check the shipping charges. I’m not familiar with these sellers so please do your homework and shop accordingly. Some offer special deals like getting a free item or a percentage off if you buy a certain quantity so be sure you pay attention to that too!

Easy Homemade Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
a General Mills Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup pumpkin seeds from fresh pumpkin
2 teaspoons melted butter
Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Rinse pumpkin seeds; remove any pulp and fiber. Pat seeds dry with paper towels. Spread seeds in ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Toss with melted butter; stir to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
2: Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown and crisp, stirring once.
3: Cool 10 minutes or until completely cooled before serving.

Darlene’s Tips: You can add a variety of flavors to pumpkin seeds! Try adding any of the following: cayenne pepper, chili powder, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, seasoned salt, cinnamon and sugar, italian seasoning, or whatever you like! You can also use olive oil instead of butter.

Vampire Blood Poke Cake
a General Mills Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1 box (1 lb 2.25 oz) Betty Crocker Super Moist white cake mix
Water, vegetable oil and egg whites called for on cake mix box
1 cup boiling water
1 box (4-serving size) Jell-O strawberry-flavored gelatin
1 container Betty Crocker Soft Whipped fluffy white ready-to-spread frosting
2 tubes (0.68 oz each) red decorating gel

DIRECTIONS:
1: Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray. Make and bake cake mix as directed on box for 13×9-inch pan, using water, oil and egg whites. Cool in pan on cooling rack 20 minutes.
2: Meanwhile, in small bowl, pour boiling water over gelatin; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Poke warm cake every inch with wooden skewer halfway into cake, twisting skewer back and forth. Pour gelatin over cake, allowing gelatin to fill in holes. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
3: Frost cake with frosting. Drizzle red decorating gel over frosting. Store covered in refrigerator.

Darlene’s Tips: You can do this with any flavor gelatin for any occasion! Instead of frosting, you can spread whipped topping on the cake and still drizzle the “blood” over the top.
