Fabric on Amazon – 100% Rayon Challis Batik – Awesome for Apparel

Posted by Darlene on October 23, 2017 at 9:38 pm

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

rayon fabric darlene michaud

Rayon is what I used the most in the 11 years I made and sold my plus size tunics. And even though it says dry clean only, I have always machine washed and tumble dried my rayon tops.

Rayon will shrink a bit so it’s best to wash and dry your fabric before you make garments. Then you can make your garment to fit and there will be no more shrinking!

All the rayon challis fabrics below were priced at $6.98 per yard with FREE shipping at the time of this post!

Check the listings! For some you get 20% OFF if you purchase 3 yards! For others it’s 15% OFF or 10% OFF if you buy 4 or 5 yards.

Click each image to see the listing.

Amazon’s prices can change at any time! Below are the prices at the time of this post. I have not purchased from these sellers. Please read their descriptions.

Owl Brownies – Super Easy Halloween Recipe

Stuff you might need or like:
Large Candy Eyes (walmart)
Halloween Recipes (amazon, see below)

NOTE: Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

Darlene’s Tips: You can make this a no-bake recipe by decorating Little Debbie brownies or any square dessert, even cut pieces of cake or square cookies!

INGREDIENTS:

1 box (18.3 oz) Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
1 container (16 oz) Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
48 gummy peach ring candies
48 Betty Crocker Candy Shop candy eyeballs
24 pieces candy corn
12 Reese’s Minis peanut butter cups (from 8-oz bag), cut in quarters

DIRECTIONS:

1: Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13×9-inch pan with foil, letting foil hang 2 inches over sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan.

2: Bake 22 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean. Transfer to cooling rack to cool completely in pan, about 1 hour.

3: Using foil to lift, remove brownies from pan. Frost brownies with frosting. Use sharp knife to cut brownies into 6 rows by 4 rows, making 24 brownies.

4: Attach 2 peach ring candies to each brownie for eyes; place 2 candy eyeballs in centers. Attach 1 piece candy corn for nose. Place 2 peanut butter cup quarters, cut side-down, at top of each brownie for eyebrows.

. fabric frenzy

I will be hosting my very first Fabric Frenzy in my Peanut Gallery facebook group on Friday, October 27!

During that day, I will be posting various fabric deals directly in my group. Only group members will get the secret links! The deals will be scattered throughout the day so you can just keep checking to see what new stuff popped up!

I have lots of Fabric Panels coming out and some yardage. I have so much fabric to offer but setting this up is a bit more work than I expected. If this Fabric Frenzy goes well, we can do another one in a month or two! It will give me more time to work on it.

Join my Peanut Gallery group to get in on the fun!

I do want to mention that the sales will be for USA only. I can’t take on the additional work of preparing international packages at this time. But anyone can join the group! And it’s a very quite group since I’m the only one posting in there.

Join before October 27!

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

It’s Monday!

My favorite day. I love a fresh new beginning to the work week!

Yesterday I started a new Rag Quilt Tutorial! I will be finishing that today so that will be at least one of my videos. I’m feeling kind of energetic so maybe I’ll do two videos today for my main channel.

Last night I also recorded an Exclusive Video for Patreon! It’s the Would You Rather Gross Out Edition that I could not (well, could, but didn’t want to) put on my main channel. I still can’t shake off that video! lol

Other than that, I’ve been very busy with other stuff. Fabric Frenzy is one of those things! That is happening this Friday, October 27, so be sure you are in my facebook group so you can be part of the excitement!

*NEW* On Patreon: Like I said above, I have a new Would You Rather Gross Out Edition uploaded for patrons only. If you join (it’s only a buck per month) you will also get immediate access to my other exclusive videos.
