Halloween Candy Brownies – Halloween Recipe
NOTE: Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
INGREDIENTS:
1 box (1 lb 2.3 oz) Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix
Vegetable oil, water and eggs called for on box for cakelike brownies
1 cup mini pretzel twists, broken
1 1/2 cups (from 8-oz bag) Reese’s peanut butter cups minis, coarsely chopped
1 cup (from 1-lb container) Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
1/3 cup Reese’s Mini Pieces peanut butter candy in a crunchy shell
1 tablespoon holiday-colored candy sprinkles, if desired
Darlene’s Tips: Use a plastic knife to cut brownies… less stickly! You can use store brand ingredients to save money. You can add different candy if you like and leave out anything you don’t like. Experiment!
DIRECTIONS:
1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.
2 In large bowl, mix brownie mix, oil, water and eggs with spoon until well blended. Stir in pretzels and 1 cup of the peanut butter cups minis. Spread in pan.
3 Bake 24 to 26 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Remove from oven to cooling rack. Cool completely, at least 1 hour.
4 Frost with frosting. Sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter cups minis, the Reese’s Mini Pieces and sprinkles. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows.

Here is a roundup of items on Clearance at Walmart! Some of these will be limited (sizes, colors, prints) so hurry to see if they have what you need available!
NOTE: Clearance items are not always available in your store. They might be only in the warehouse. Most items can be ordered online and sent to your store and you can pick it up for free. If you don’t like or it does not fit, you can return it directly to the store. So easy!
Order online with FREE Store Pickup (if available)
Or ships FREE to home with $35 purchase
SHOPPING TIP: If you get close to the $35 minimum, simply order other stuff you always buy including groceries! There are more and more grocery items available on Walmart.com now that you can have shipped to your home. I love ordering the big and heavy stuff for home delivery like 20 rolls of toiler paper or big jugs of laundry detergent, stuff like that. I do about half of my grocery shopping on Walmart.com now. So convenient!

It’s Tuesday!
I feel so unaccomplished! Yesterday I was so busy with packaging orders that I barely did any of my usual blog stuff. I hate when I skip days like that! But I did get 2 videos recorded. So at least that’s good.
Video 1 was a Roger’s Meat Haul Car Vlog. I was quite happy with what I got! I also talked about a few other things.
Video 2 was Episode 2 of my Raw Edge Crazy Quilt Tutorial. I’m loving this particular method of making blocks! Still not sure how I’ll put it together, but we will find out soon enough. I hope to work on this more today so I can knock out Episode 3.
Today, working on my blog posts first and foremost. I have been getting lots of new traffic on my blog which pleases me to no end. I’ve had this blog (well, it was a website before it was a blog) for almost 18 years now and I have been active on it practically every day since. I sure do have staying power! lol
Oh, I wanted to mention that one of the free ebooks that I found today was How to Make Butter. That reminded me so much of THIS VIDEO where Skylar and I accidentally made butter. We were going for whipped cream. Skylar was so disappointed! But it was fun just the same. This is from my October trip a year ago in 2016. Please check out this Blast from the Past video!
