. walmart clearance roundup darlene michaud

Here is a roundup of items on Clearance at Walmart! Some of these will be limited (sizes, colors, prints) so hurry to see if they have what you need available!

NOTE: Clearance items are not always available in your store. They might be only in the warehouse. Most items can be ordered online and sent to your store and you can pick it up for free. If you don’t like or it does not fit, you can return it directly to the store. So easy!

Order online with FREE Store Pickup (if available)

Or ships FREE to home with $35 purchase

ONLY 1 COLOR LEFT

SHOPPING TIP: If you get close to the $35 minimum, simply order other stuff you always buy including groceries! There are more and more grocery items available on Walmart.com now that you can have shipped to your home. I love ordering the big and heavy stuff for home delivery like 20 rolls of toiler paper or big jugs of laundry detergent, stuff like that. I do about half of my grocery shopping on Walmart.com now. So convenient!

Easy Crescent Mummy Pizzas – Halloween Recipe

NOTE: Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not test this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:

1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/3 cup pizza sauce
8 slices mozzarella cheese (from 8-oz package), cut into 8 strips each
16 ripe olive slices for eyes

Darlene’s Tips: You can use store brand for the crescent rolls to save $. You could use shredded mozzarella cheese if that’s what you have. This would also be cute on rectangle crackers! Just pop them under the broiler for a bit to melt or heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Or use half slices of toast.

DIRECTIONS:

1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray.

2 Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles; press seams together. Using pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut each rectangle crosswise in half. Place crescent squares on cookie sheet, and press out slightly. Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until light golden brown; remove from oven.

3 Spread about 2 teaspoons of the pizza sauce on top of each crescent square. Top each with 8 strips of mozzarella cheese, alternating and overlapping strips to look like mummy bandages. Add 2 olive slices to each for eyes.

4 Bake 2 to 3 minutes longer or until cheese slightly melts. Serve warm.

Sunday Chat – Wonky Raw Edge Block, Quilt Auctions Ends Today, Other Stuff

Posted by Darlene on October 8, 2017 at 11:43 am

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

It’s Sunday!

It’s a warm gray day, not hot, just warm. And there is a nice breeze. It would be a good day to go for a ride, but quite sure this girl is staying put. I didn’t get much sleep so I just want to hang today and do simple stuff.

I realize that in yesterday’s update, I didn’t share the link to my Friday video, so here it is. On Friday I uploaded another Accent Tag. I knew I had done an accent tag before, but didn’t quite snap that I did pretty much the exact same one before until I was well into the second one. lol Oh well, nothing wrong with a repeat! Here is the New Accent Tag video. And here is my Original Accent Tag video from over a year ago. I did not go back and watch the old one, but I can almost guarantee I said the same stuff there.

Yesterday’s video was a Wonky Raw Edge Quilt Block that I really love. I might do a mini quilt using this method. Hey, that’s sounds like a good series to start today! Do love that idea!

Let’s just jump into the usual stuff below. I’m anxious to start my quilt! lol
