TGIF! It’s a gray day today! Do love! But it’s hot and humid. Do not love! I don’t care. I have my AC and I’m just happy to have no sunshine for a change. Today I must, must, MUST work on my Ugly Quilt and get episode 2 knocked out. I will be doing that shortly. I must. I don’t want to drag that out. So you can expect that video this afternoon. First, I must eat steak. lol Last night I hurried up and knocked out a very simple quilt block that I called Around the Corner. It ended up with surprising results on the quilt board (at the end of the video) Amazing what a simple block can do! I really need to get a lot done this weekend. My schedule is getting a bit tight with all the fabric that I sell. Listing that fabric, cutting it, packaging it… so time-consuming. I wish so much that I had a little helper. One of these days! What I Have on eBay: I have Fabric Friday up and running! The peanut gallery group got an early chance to grab that they want first, but I save some for the rest of you too! 10 Free eBooks plus Free Music: I have the new Free eBook Downloads which includes 25 Savory Pie Recipes, One Day Quilting Mastery, Paper Crafts and more! I have the Free Music Downloads too. Stuff You Can Do: FREE Home Depot Workshop – Installing A Toilet – 9/16/17 Yesterday’s Walmart.com Deal: I found a deal on a Quilt Ruler Set! Great time to buy! Youtube Analytics Mini Update: Youtube has updated through Sept 13. For sure I took a little dip in subscribers when this video came out, but it looks like that dip was temporary. I’m back up to my average number of subbies for Sept. It’s a lot lower than Aug, but that’s not because of my video. It’s because the spike that I had in Aug is over. Happy Thursday! It’s a bright and sunny day in Sanford, Maine. I will do my best to ignore that because I have got a lot to do today! I just get all my Fabric Friday listings up so my Peanut Gallery facebook group can get first dibs. I will be letting them grab what they want before the rest of my youtube subscribers are notified. If you want early notices, you need to join the group! I also want to record Episode 2 of my Ugly Polyester Quilt Tutorial. I’m not loving this mini quilt so far, but it is growing on me. I have the top done now and will show how I trim it then we need to work on a backing. No matter what, it’s still fun! And who knows, it might come out a winner! (pretty sure any quilt is a winner!) I don’t see myself leaving the house today. I love when I can stay put. I’m just very anxious for us to change the time so it can get dark earlier. In my perfect world, we’d have about 4 hours of light per day. That sounds like paradise to me! What I Have on eBay: I still have Penny Auctions with Free Shipping! I will have lots of fabric on Friday! 10 Free eBooks plus Free Music: I have the new Free eBook Downloads which includes Super Simple Cookie Recipes, 24 Tie Dye Techniques, Cooking for Dogs and more! I have the Free Music Downloads too. 99¢ eBooks for Quilters and Crafters: I am trying out this new list of 99¢ eBooks for Quilters and Crafters. Not sure if I will continue it. All depends on if there is interest. It’s hard to find free ebooks in the quilting and crafting categories so the next best thing is 99¢ ebooks. Stuff You Can Do: FREE Home Depot Workshop – Installing A Toilet – 9/16/17 Yesterday’s Walmart.com Deal: Check out this fantastic deal on toddler boy’s Spiderman boots (if there are any left). And this Brother’s sewing machine that I posted earlier is a hot seller!!! On Derrick’s blog: Mens Guitar Pendant Adjustable Leather Rope Necklace. Makes a great stocking stuffer for the rock star in your life! Youtube Analytics Mini Update: Youtube has updated through Sept 12. Earnings are holding steady. Not sure how the end of the month will look but the first two weeks are looking better than I expected. I had a spike in August so I expected my earnings to drop significantly for September (there is usually a decent drop after a spike) but I’m above where I expected to be, so here’s hoping for a good month! You can subscribe to my channel here. Peanut Gallery Facebook Group Update: We currently have 946 members and growing! PGFB members get early notices of my eBay auctions and other fun stuff. Don’t miss out! You can join here! What I’m Watching Tonight: Project Runway and Big Brother. Have a great Thursday! Darlene xoxo BE COOL -> Subscribe to my Youtube channel |
