Happy Hump Day Everyone!
First the good news… I finished cutting all the crumbs for these crumb quilt lots that I sold on ebay. Yes, finished. I worked on cutting those daily for 8 days. Those was by far the most time-consuming lots I have put together so far. I won’t be doing that particular listing again. lol All the orders went out this morning!
The bad news is I completely forgot my car appointment yesterday for an oil change, new rear tires and an inspection. I remember that around 2:00am and that was enough to keep me awake most of the night. Slept a little this morning then just gave up and got up. I’m not one to miss appointments like that. Hate that I did. It’s bad enough that I don’t like appointments but now I have to call and reschedule and I hate that even more.
Since I was so busy with the crumbs yesterday because I was determined to get them packaged and ready for pickup, I was not able to record. Well, let’s say it this way… there was no way I felt like doing any editing. So I spent the evening sewing my own crumb blocks so I can get closer to wrapping up the crumb quilt series. I’m anxious to start something new!
Today, there will be a video of some sort. There has to be! I don’t like skipping a day with no video. Must not skip two days. I lost sleep over not recording too. It was a sleepless night filled with anxiety. lol

Yesterday’s Walmart.com Deal: I found a great deal on these Fisher-Price Scoop ‘n Link Bath Boats! It’s a great time to stock up for Christmas or birthdays!
What I’m Watching Tonight:Big Brother and America’s Got Talent. And yes, I switch back and forth. I didn’t really like last night’s episode of talent and don’t really care who makes it through. I do hope the dog act makes it and I love the singer, Kechi, but I did not like her choice of song last night. As for BB, I’m bored with them too. I liked it much better when Cody and Jess were in the house. They kept me entertained.
Youtube Analytics Mini Update: Here’s a new record breaker for my channel: My videos have been shared over 3,000 times so far for August! You might remember not long ago my goal was to get 1,000 shares. I think I reached that in July. Now we are up to 3K in one month! I think sharing someone’s videos is by far the most helpful thing a viewer can do to help the creator grow. I also see that currently my top traffic source is Suggested Videos at an astounding 60%. I’ve never seen it that high. That means youtube is noticing my channel more and more and is putting it out there so new viewers can find me. I know some see my youtube updates as bragging. First, I have totally earned the right to brag. I have worked very hard at growing my channel and I’m super proud of how well I’ve done up to this point. The only reason I even share this info is to hopefully help other content creators and to encourage them to keep at it. If you have a channel, I can’t stress enough that if you want your channel to grow, you must stick with it. Provide good content, upload on a regular basis, be yourself and treat your channel like the world is watching even if you have just 10 subscribers. Everyone starts with nothing. Only those with a vision and a plan will succeed. You can see my Youtube Earnings Updates starting from April 2016 here.
Have a great Wednesday! Darlene xoxo

There are more and more grocery items available on Walmart.com now that you can have shipped to your home. I love ordering the big and heavy stuff for home delivery like 20 rolls of toiler paper or big jugs of laundry detergent, stuff like that. I do about half of my grocery shopping on Walmart.com now. So convenient!

Happy Tuesday!
If the title got your attention, read the Youtube Analytics Mini Update section below.
I got up fairly early but I seem to be getting a slow start. I can’t afford to be slow today. I must finish cutting the crumb pieces and get those ready for tomorrow’s pickup. I’ve been working on those crumbs for a week now! Just way too time consuming. I will not be doing another listing like this one again. I love the idea, but I need to perfect this type of listing to make it more manageable. The other night I closed my eyes and I actually saw prints of fabric behind my lids. It was like the images were being projected on to a screen. Say what? lol
I also must do laundry because I did not get around to that yesterday. I also want to do a crumb quilt quick tip and that might be it for crumb quilt videos for today. I really need to just get to sewing so I can wrap up this series. I’m very anxious to move on to the next series which I’m thinking might involve a large fabric panel. If you have some panels that you have not used, hang on to them!
Yesterday, I managed to list my Penny Auctions with Free Shipping and I also uploaded the Manic Monday video that talks about those auctions. I ended the day with Crumb Quilt Adventure Ep. 9 which is pretty much a recap of how to get started because I have many who say they are struggling with the process yet they don’t want to give up.
And I know I mentioned a surprise for the Peanut Gallery (those are my youtube channel subscribers, if you want to be a member all you need to do is subscribe to my channel) and I promise there is a surprise on the way. I just need to get the crumbs out before I can work on that. Hang in there!
What I Have on eBay: The Penny Auctions with Free Shipping are up! They are no longer at a penny, but you can check them out just the same to see how high some of them are! So fun!
10 Free eBooks plus Free Music: I have the new Free eBooks list including Ramen Noodle Cookbook, Acrylic Painting for Beginners, Buzz the Bumblebee Stories and Jokes for Kids and more! and I also have the Free Music including Blondie, The Disko Starz and more! Please remember that the free ebooks and the free music are only free for a little while. Always check to be sure they are still free.
Yesterday’s Walmart.com Deal: I didn’t get around to doing any bargain hunting yesterday, but you can .
What I’m Watching Tonight:America’s Got Talent! I thought last week’s episode pretty much stunk. At least the acts that did not go as planned entertained me. lol I hope the show it good tonight!
Youtube Analytics Mini Update: One of the best things I’ve learned by watching the youtube tipsters is that when a video is performing well, do more of the same. Immediately. Often. Use the same keyword phrases in your title, description, tags and in the comments. Bingo! Ride the wave for as long as you can. The wave will eventually end, but you for sure can keep it going for a bit longer if you know how to surf. Do the right things and your ratings and earnings will increase. My crumb quilt ride is slowing down now, but it was such a thrilling ride! And there might be another wave right around the corner. I’m ready for it! Here are some stats; the Crumb Quilt Adventure started on Aug 17. Episode 1 came out strong so I knocked out 9 episodes in all along with 1 quick tip video. The earnings for that series has been updated through Aug 27. So far the series has earned $235.26 and that’s with some of those videos being only a few days old and no stats are in at all for episode 9 yet. Yes, I have peanut gallery members who are totally disappointed that my channel has lots of quilting stuff. They are making that very clear to me. Not only do I get tons of private messages but I get the most thumbs down on those videos (which actually helps my videos in youtube’s eyes because it counts as engagement, so thank you for that). I also have many who hate that I swear. Fuck them. lol Quilting, swearing, meltdowns, those are the type of videos that perform well for me. Those are the videos padding my retirement fund. I will always do what works best for me first, peanut gallery second. After all, I’m the one who has to pay my bills, right? If anyone wants to take care of me financially, I’ll be happy to record the exact videos you want. Don’t like what I’m uploading? Here’s a tip for you… find another channel.
