Happy Saturday! It’s a wonderful gray day in Sanford, Maine! I think I will be productive today. I just hope I can do stuff that needs to get done other then my usual work. I have a pile of paper work to go through. Ugh. Yesterday, I was finally able to record my Youtube Earnings Update! August is rocking! It was also Fabric Friday and I quickly sold out of my Wonky Strips. I still have some of that fabric, so they might make one more appearance at some point. I ended my day with a late night episode on my Crumb Quilt Adventure! Gotta tell you, this series came out of the gate running! I tapped in to a topic that is highly searched on youtube yet has very little content. This is putting me on the first page of almost any search that uses the terms crumb quilt or crumb quilting. If you scroll down those pages a bit, I should pop up. That’s what you want as a youtuber! You want to show up on page 1 of search. For that, you need good keywords that many are searching for but that not many are providing content for. I tapped into this with my Quilt As You Go stuff and now I’m doing it again with my Crumb Quilt Adventure! Today, for sure I know I will work on my crumb quilt blocks, because the addiction is still so new! And who knows, I may turn the camera on. Or I might wait a bit. I don’t want to wear that series out. The other thing I need to do is work on my next Upcycled Fashions video. I want to make a top to go with this skirt from the last episode. And I need to dye and cut my hair! I just remembered that. Maybe tomorrow? Maybe not. I need to be in the right mood for that task. lol What I Have on eBay: My Penny Auctions end today! If you have your eye on something, get your bidding finger ready! 10 Free eBooks: I have the free ebook list for you! I even found one for Modern Quilts! Remember, price can change at any time, so always check. Youtube Analytics Mini Update: You have my full update for the first 2 weeks of August here. So far it’s my best month yet! And holy shit!!! I just checked the Creator Studio app and I see that Friday earned my highest watch time ever with over 131K minutes watched! Very anxious to see that that means for earnings on that day. That watch time is totally due to my crumb quilt adventure, I’m sure. Exciting! And the official stats are not in yet, but it looks like I got over 200 new subscribers over the past 24 hours. I can’t wait for the analytics to update for the 18th! And we hit over 23K today! On Derrick’s blog: If you like the middle finger (lol) you might want to check out these Punk Cool Black Stainless Steel Men’s Ear Studs that Derrick found. Remember, prices can change on amazon. Have an awesome Saturday! Darlene xoxo BE COOL -> Subscribe to my Youtube channel I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.
