Happy Monday everyone!

I have to be quick today because it’s Manic Monday, I have so much to do, and I slept late!  Must get this day started!

Let’s start with the Upcycled Fashion that I worked on yesterday. I worked on it then started over!  It was a hot mess the first time around.  I was heart broken. LOL  But I managed to turn it into a fabulous skirt on the second attempt. Please check it out!

I changed my weekly schedule a bit because I found I was not able to get all the videos done each week that I planned to do.  I keep forgetting that there are only 7 days in a week and only 24 hours in each of those days. lol  If only I could find a way to never have to sleep or eat.  Working 24/7 would be a dream land for me.

Starting a new week with a streamlined schedule feels good.  I still have tons planned, but with a little less pressure. Today I will be posting some Penny Auctions with Free Shipping so stay tuned for that (you can check here to see if they are listed yet).  I will have a few of my Tutorial Quilt Blocks listed and maybe something else. I need to see what I can find.

Youtube Analytics Mini Update: My watch time is lower so far this month, but earnings are good.  Looks like I am attracting higher paying ads.  When I upload videos with “quilt” tags, I always seem to do better.  It makes sense but lots of content creators don’t pay attention to this tip: If something is working for you, do more of that!  I’ll be anxious to see the stats mid way through the month.

Happy Sunday!

Let’s start off chatting about Big Brother!  It’s on tonight.  I’d be happy if it was on every night!  I know we can watch live feeds and all that, but that does not interest me.  I like the edited versions. lol  I keep getting asked who my favorite is to win. I really don’t have one.  I really like Paul and would be happy if he won.  I’ll be happy for anyone.

And I do think it would be super wild if both Corey and Jessica made it.  That would drive the house nuts! LOL  I’m not big fans of either of them, but again, anyone who wins certainly earned it.  I never understand when people say they don’t deserve to win because they didn’t play a good game. Um, if you win, you played the best game!

I will say there are some things about the show that I don’t like.  I do not like they way they talk in the diary room. It’s so over the top. No one talks like that!  I like a regular speaking voice. I’m not big on noise. I especially hate when Josh bangs the pot and pans. Do hate so much.

So I’ll be watching tonight and will be curious to see how it all plays out. I just miss Skylar so much when it’s on as she loves watching Big Brother with me.  Miss her.

Yesterday my nephew and his two kiddos came over. They each brought a toy, a stuffed animal and a doll. I made pillows and sleeping bags for both then also an outfit for the doll.  No cameras. No pictures. Just sewed like a normal person. lol

Then I uploaded a new Half Rectangle Quilt Block video!  I just loved this one!  There are so many ways to create different quilt designs.  I showed you a few that I came up with at the end of the video. Please watch!

I still have quite a long “short” list of things to do today. Upcycled Fashions, “Shit” series, Comments of some kind, a Doodle Reload. I’d love to accomplish two of these things, would mega love to accomplish three.  I am quite sure I can knock out the doodle reload. I just need to swap out the music, take new pics, edit the ending. Not brain frying but still time-consuming. Then I’m leaning toward an upcycled fashion or the shit series. And maybe comments tonight!  How does that sound? lol  Key word is “maybe.”  No promises.  Just remebered.  I have fabric to cut and orders to get out.  I must get busy!

Youtube Analytics Mini Update: I’m gaining lots of new subscribers! The peanut gallery is growing so fast!  I will hit 21K today for sure.  The youtube app is showing me that I got 186 new subbies just yesterday alone. I think that has to be my highest ever in one day.  Nope!  I just checked my lifetime analytics and I see I got 197 on June 28, while Skylar was here!  Makes me happy to see that. She is good for my channel!
