Happy Tuesday!

Let’s start out by talking a little bit about my love/hate relationship with my Upcycled Fashions series.  I love it!  I hate it! lol   It always starts out with a simple idea that I’m anxious to knock out. It always ends with me feeling completely defeated.  I’ve come to learn that my Upcycled Fashions will never really be tutorials of any kind, meaning no one will understand what the hell I’m doing.  Instead, I’m going to embrace the fact that those videos are a shit show for entertainment purposes only. lol  And I’m okay with that!  I hope the peanut gallery is too!

Speaking on Upcycled Fashions, I worked on one yesterday that I fully expected to have uploaded last night.  But it turned into a nightmare project which took me many hours to complete.  And I only half love it.  I don’t hate it.  But when I see what a simple garment it is and think back on the time I spent, it makes me want to cry! lol  I still have editing to do and hope to have that uploaded later today.  And I have to dress up my mannequin again and take the pictures because I forgot that part last night.  It was one of those kinds of nights! lol

What I did upload yesterday was a new Mailbag Monday video.  I only got one box, but it had 4 awesome garments inside.  I hope I can come up with something brilliant for those tops!  They go together well, so by putting some together, maybe I can finally make the full length super flared hippie skirt I so want to make.  Time will tell!

I also hope to finish the tote bag I’m making for ebay.  I am so anxious to get that listed!  And I have lots of beads to send out.  I was really happy with my bead auctions this month.  My mixed lot sold for $22.67!!!  It encourages me to make more of them!  And I want to try some new styles of paper beads.  If I do, I’ll make a video on how to make them.
