Happy Tuesday!

It’s snowing! But certainly not like some have been making it sound. I don’t know what weather channel my mother watches, but they had her scared! lol I don’t care how much is snows at this point because we are getting near the very end of it all. I don’t mind at all if I’m housebound for a week or two. Let it snow! But just for the record, I have never, ever, not been able to get out of the house during any snow storm. I don’t understand why people feel they have to shop like they will be trapped for a month. I can understand if maybe you live out in the boonies. But once the plow goes by, you are free!

Yesterday, I worked on my mother’s quilt some more. I hope to finish that today or tomorrow. And what mistakes I have made! It is becoming a project that I’m not enjoying at all. And this is why I hate to custom make stuff. It becomes such a daunting task instead of something fun.

I realized I still have to do the unboxing and review of my new copper pan! I will try to get that done soon. And I have a few other fun videos planned, so stay tuned!

My Friend Selina is Shaving Her Head Bald for Cancer!

My Youtube friend, Selina Ryan, will be shaving her head to raise money for cancer! If she reaches her goal, she will shave her head during a live stream. If her goal is not reached, she will still shave her head and upload to youtube, but it will not be live.

Her goal is $500. She is asking for even just $1.00 per person! Any amount will help

She has several videos about this and I have them all linked below. But the most informative one is featured above. At the end, it will walk you through the easy donation process. I got stuck at the phone number part, but then watched her video and realized you do NOT need to enter a phone number. And your donation can be anonymous.

Please at least check out her videos and share if you can. I want very much to help her reach her goal. She is a long time and loyal member of the peanut gallery!

Monday Chat – 10K Peanut Gallery Members, Started My Mother’s Quilt, It’s COLD!!!

Happy Monday everyone!

It’s freezing cold here in Sanford, Maine! Yesterday, I ran to Walmart (sans camera) because I needed a new blade for my rotary cutter, and I took off with no jacket thinking it was nice out. It was 19 degrees and windy! I was freezing! lol But, it felt sort of good and rejuvenated me.

Once I had my new blade, I started my mother’s birthday quilt! It’s going much quicker than I thought. I completed the 8 rows needed for the top. Today I will work on the back strips and start putting it together. And I am recording the steps along the way. I hope it comes out good.

The only video I recorded yesterday was my quick Thank You to the Peanut Gallery for getting me over 10K subscribers on Youtube. I’m very proud of that accomplishment! Now my next goal is 50K and I know we will get there!

It’s much later than I thought! I need to change the time on my clocks. I hate that! And even worse, I have to change them in the wrong direction. We now have longer DAYS!!! I love longer nights. In a perfect world, it would get dark at noon. At least that’s my perfect!

First, we hit over 10K subscribers on my channel yesterday!!! Yay! Yay! I will be having a Giveaway as a way to celebrate! I will be giving away a tote bag. Just need to make it first. Soon!!!

Yesterday, I dyed and trimmed my hair and even showed you my makeup routine. LOL My hair did not really get any lighter at all due to the black that’s already in it. I should have picked LIGHTER colors in the poll and it would have lifted some. But no biggie! I can do it again very soon!

I also knocked out another quilt block for the Quilt Block Party! Check out #7, Wonky 9 Patch!

Today, I must start the quilt that I am making for my mother. Her birthday is the 19th, so I’m cutting it close! But I should be able to get it done in time. And yes, I will be recording the steps. Stay tuned!
