Happy Saturday!

Wow! We were so busy yesterday! Skylar’s cousins came over then we all went to the lake swimming again. I did not record any of that this time, but when we got home, I gave the camera to Skylar, then my sister and I went over to my mother’s side and shut the door and let the kids record. I knew they were playing with wigs, but next time I checked on them, they had switched over to making a smoothie! This will be turned into 3 separate videos. The first one, Fun with Wigs, is here!

Then I did a quick concoction video all by my lonesome.  Chicken Gizzards and Hearts!!!  I know, not something everyone loves. lol  But I’m surprised by the comments I got at how many people do love them!

Tonight, Skylar and I plan on going to Wells Harbor for the first summer concert. If you live in or around Wells, you can see the free concert schedule here. There is tons of free parking and an awesome playground for the kids! You might want to bring your own chairs and pack your dinner. You can even bring the barbeque!  Dogs are allowed on a leash.  I hope to do some recording there tonight to show you.

Other than that, I might do some cleaning before we head out to the concert. The key word there is “might” lol.

Happy Friday!

We had an unexpected day of outdoor activity yesterday! Skylar swam at the Springvale rec with her cousins!  She had an awesome time and we hope to go again today!

Then last night, Skylar whipped up her very own smoothie recipe and it turned out simply delish!  She did this all on her own and that video is on her very own channel!  She acts quite different than when she’s on video with me. Very shy! lol  Just too cute!

We have another peanut gallery member who took on the Baked Tomato Challenge!  Check out Running Kimono’s quickie video!  I also love this video for low carb “bread” that Shawna uploaded!

Now I must get ready to hit the lake again. Need to pack a lunch and fill my water jug then we are off and running!

Happy Thursday!

We had a very busy day yesterday!  Skylar and I went through and cleaned out two dressers so now she has room for her clothes! She’s been living out of her suitcase for the past 2 weeks.  But now she has her own dresser for when she visits!

We also recorded two videos, a Baked Tomato Concoction that was part of Sandy Pro’s Challenge and Skylar Answered More Questions!  Just too cute!

As for the tomatoes, the varied recipes we came up with seem to be quite a success!!!  Here are the versions we have so far!

Last night, I sort of kind of fixed my broken couch. I put a pillow under the couch cushion to fill up the hole caused by the broken spring and that worked really well!  I may not need to go shopping for a new bed after all!

Not sure what we have planned for today, but I’m sure we’ll have a video for you tonight!  We have been doing tons of crafts, but I have not been recording that.  Just not enough time to do all the editing.  So much to do, so little time!!!
