Pepperoni and Cheese Bread Recipe
4 cups flour
2 T. sugar
1 T. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, chilled and cut into pieces
4 cups grated cheese, your choice
2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 cup finely chopped pepperoni
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl. With 2 knives cut butter into flour mixture. Add cheese and pepperoni.
2. In another bowl, whisk together milk and eggs. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; stir until just moistened.
3. Pour evenly into 2 greased loaf pans or as many as 7 greased 3 x 5 1/2 inch loaf pans. Need loaf pans? See here!
4. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan then cool completely on wire rack.
5. Delicious. Freezes well, too.
Tip: Use the wrapper your butter was in to grease your pan. Save the empty wrappers in a plastic bag in your freezer for future use.
