Sloppy Joe Pasta – Easy Skillet Recipe

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1 onion, peeled and diced
1 package (1 to 2 oz) sloppy joe seasoning mix
1 can (about 15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (about 14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
12 oz uncooked pasta of your choice

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Cook ground beef and onion in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, breaking up beef as it cooks. Drain.

2:  Add sloppy joe seasoning mix, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes (undrained). Stir to combine and heat to boiling over medium-high heat.

3:   Add 12 oz uncooked pasta and toss until pasta is submerged. Cover and cook 8 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on eBay and at Walmart!

Darlene’s Tips:  You can diced add peppers if you want or any other ingredients that you like. Just use a larger skillet if necessary. Top with shredded cheese just before serving and/or a dollop of sour cream.
