Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb lean ground beef (at least 80%)
1 onion, peeled and diced
1 packet sloppy joe seasoning mix
1 can (about 15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (about 14 oz) diced tomates, undrained
12 oz uncooked pasta of your choice
(see tips below)
DIRECTIONS:
1: Cook the ground beef and onion in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until beef is thoroughly cooked, breaking up beef as it cooks. Drain.
2: Add the sloppy joe seasoning mix, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes (including the liquid). Stir to combine. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat.
3: Add the pasta and toss until pasta is submerged. Cover and cook 7 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

Darlene’s Tips: You can add any other ingredients you want like bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms, etc. Serve with shredded cheese on top. If you don’t want the sloppy joe flavor, turn it into chili pasta or taco pasta by using a packet of chili seasoning or taco seasoning instead.
