Below are a few scenarios as to how you can use your $5/$25 Shaw’s coupons along with the General Mills sale where you get $5 instant savings if you buy 10 participating items. These scenarios will work through Thursday, Nov 17.
Remember, the $5/$25 coupon has no restrictions as to when you need to meet the $25 minimum purchase, so I’m basing the $25 minimum on shelf price, not sale price. What I will do is have them scan all the items, then have them scan my $5/$25 coupon, then my Shaw’s card, then my coupons.
To come up with your own scenarios, just look at the back of the Shaw’s flyer and mix and match to your heart’s content! Even if you don’t have all the coupons mentioned, you can still save a bundle! And you don’t have to use the $5/$25 on the GM items. You can use that coupon on anything in the store.
Remember, you must buy 10 GM items in one transaction to get the $5 instant savings. And you must have a total shelf price of $25 or more to use the $5/$25 coupon. Then you deduct the instant savings and coupons from the sale price to get your out of pocket total.

Scenario 1:
Buy 10 pouches Betty Crocker cookie mix
shelf price: $2.79 x 10 = $27.79
sale price: $2.00 x 10 = $20.00
Get instant savings of $5.00 off for GM deal
Use (1) $5/$25 Shaw’s coupon
Use (2) $1.10/2 Betty Crocker cookie mix
Use (2) $1/2 Betty Crocker cookie mix
Use (1) $1/2 Betty Crocker cookie mix
OOP total after instant savings and all coupons is $4.80
Scenario 2:
Buy 2 boxes Betty Crocker Super Moist cake mix
shelf price: $2.19 x 2 = $4.38
sale price: $1.25 x 2 = $2.50
Buy 2 tubs Betty Crocker frosting
shelf price: $2.29 x 2 = $4.58
sale price: $2.00 x 2 = $4.00
Buy 4 boxes Betty Crocker Supreme brownie mix
shelf price: $2.99 x 4 = $11.96
sale price: $2.00 x 4 = $8.00
Buy 2 pouches Betty Crocker cookie mix
shelf price: $2.79 x 2 = $5.58
sale price: $2.00 x 2 = $4.00

This is just a few combinations for you to follow. It will give you a shot at trying some extreme couponing :O)
