** HURRY ** $2 OFF Sara Lee meat by the pound or package

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

One of my facebook fans told me about this $2 off Sara Lee coupon (so sorry, I can’t remember who!) and I finally got around to printing it.  And now I want you to print it too!

There are two reasons to be excited about this coupon…

1. Shaw’s often has pre-sliced packages of Sara Lee in reduced deli with a $2 off peelie slapped on it. You can stack this coupon with the peelie to get a total of $4.00 off!

2. You should be able to stack this coupon with the $2 off Deli Hannaford coupon to get $4.00 off either a pound of sliced meat any pre-sliced meat. But some people are telling me Hannaford will not let them stack. Others are saying they are allowed to stack. Hannaford does not mention coupon stacking in their policy, so you’ll have to ask your store.

Facebook coupons don’t hang around for long… so hurry!

$2 OFF Sara Lee meat, 1 lb at the service deli OR 1 package of any pre-sliced meat in the deli section –  “Like” them then print 2 prints per computer

How to Shop the Game On $5 Instant Savings Sale at Shaw’s

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Shaw’s has a new Game On Save $5 Instantly sale starting Friday, Feb 3 and running through Thursday, Feb 9.

This post is only to explain how to shop the sale.  I will have some coupon matchups for you either later tonight or tomorrow, so watch my blog for a new post later!

For this sale, you will get $5 off instantly when you buy any 10 of the participating items, mix and match (see items below). The discount will show on your receipt. You must buy all 10 items in one shopping trip. If you buy 20, you should get $5 off twice, buy 30 and get $5 off three times, and so on.

What I always suggest for these types of sales is that you buy only the sale items during your transaction, especially if you are new. You should figure out in advance exactly what your final total will be. It the total is not what you expected, do not be afraid to ask the cashier to help you find the mistake.

The best way to save during this sale is to buy the cheapest items that are participating and also use coupons to bring the price even lower.  This sale does not go by price, but by how many items you buy.

Let’s say you don’t have any coupons. If you were to buy only the cheapest item in the sale, which happens to be Prince pasta at $1.29 each, it would look like this: 10 x $1.29 = $12.90 minus the $5 instant savings = $7.90. That is a savings of $39%.

If you were to buy the most expensive item, the Gevalia coffee at $7.49 each, it would look like this: 10 x $7.49 = $74.90 minus the $5 instant savings = $69.90. That is a savings of only 6%. So, you can see that shopping for the least expensive items is the way to go.

If you do have coupons to match the items, you can use them to bring the price way down. Again, this sale does not require a minimum price purchase after coupons. You just need to buy 10 items.

Below is a scan of the new Shaw’s flyer. The scan is provided by We Use Coupons… one of my very favorite coupon sites!

The prices you see in yellow are the prices you end up paying if you buy 10 of the correct participating items. Always check the shelf tags to be sure you are picking up the correct size and variety. Items on the shelf get shifted! If you pick up even one wrong item, you will not get the $5 off. That’s why it’s a good idea to buy just 10 at a time if you are super new to couponing. You can do it!

If you want to start looking for coupons to go with these items, you can search on my COUPON DATABASE! It will show you available printable coupons and will also tell you which inserts to look in.

** LISTEN UP ** Great Deal on Popcorn and Soda at Shaw’s starting Friday

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

Woohoo!!!  If you like popcorn and soda, you are in for a treat!  Shaw’s is having an insane B1G1G2 FREE sale on Orville Redenbacher’s and soda starting Friday, Feb 3. And there is a coupon to make the deal even more insane!

Here’s how it looks:

Buy 1 Orville Redenbacher’s Microwave Popcorn 3pk and
Get 1 FREE Orville Redenbacher’s Microwave Popcorn 3pk and
Get 2 FREE 2 liters of 7UP or A&W Root Beer
You can use the $1/2 Orville Redenbacher’s coupon from the 1/22 SmartSource insert to knock a buck off the total! Some regions got $.75/2 coupons which means they will get $1.50 off after the coupons double!

I’m not sure of the final price because I don’t know the price of the popcorn.  However, I see in the fine print that the freebie’s value is up to $2.50.  So, my best guess is the popcorn will be $2.50, or $1.50 after the coupon (or $1 if you got the better coupon).

No matter what the price is (and I will find out and update), all you pay for is ONE popcorn (less the coupon) and you get another popcorn and 2 bottles of soda FREE! OMG, if you have a bunch of coupons… it’s stock up time!!!

Sanford Shaw’s Alert: Shaw’s Pie Crusts only $.99 in Reduced Dairy, also Hood Milk, Fresh Express

I use affiliate links in some of my posts. I may earn a commission if you use my links. Full disclosure.

I just got back from my little walk around Shaw’s in Sanford and I want to report that they have about 40 boxes of Shaw’s Pie Crusts marked down to $.99 each in reduced dairy!  There are no coupons to go with this, but $.99 is a great price if you’re in the pie making mood!

They also had gallons of Hood milk priced at $3.39 and a couple dozen eggs priced at $.90 each.

Reduced produce had 8 bags of Fresh Express, but they were marked down to $1.25, not $1.00, so I didn’t pick any up.  I currently have 16 bags in my refrigerator (I’m eating salad all day, every day!), so I didn’t want to spend $.15 per bag for more.  Instead, I left all my coupons there and managed to convince one passer-by that she needed to pick up cheap salad!

Reduced deli was full of various sandwich meats, sausages, meat ends, various Alouette (Qs in 11/20 SS), and lots of fried chicken.

I walked out with one FREE half gallon of Silk… the only one they had in reduced.  It was marked down to $1 and I had $1/1 that I picked up on some display awhile back. At least I left with something!
