I just realized that the Romano’s macaroni grill dinners are part of the General Mills deal at Shaw’s! If you buy $25 of participating GM products, you get a catalina for $10 to use next time. This makes for great savings!

With that said, did you print the Macaroni Grill coupons that I mentioned? If you did, you can pick up some cheap dinners this week at Shaw’s!  If you didn’t, you might still be able to print. Get the links to print the coupons here.

Here’s how it works…

The Romano’s Macaroni Grill dinners are on sale for $3.99.
Then get $1.50 off or $1.00 off depending on which coupon you have
You pay either $2.49 or $2.99
If you buy $25 worth of participating GM items, you get $10 back. Check the back of your Shaw’s flyer to see which items you can mix and match.

Note: it does state the $25 minimum purchase must be after coupons, but if you reach $25 in sale price (not shelf price) before coupons, you should get the cat. I got mine after dipping below $25… see here!

You can also follow what others are reporting on We Use Coupons. Go to their site, click on the forums link in the header, click on Shaw’s under the Grocery Stores category, scroll down and find the Shaw’s – Share your GM trips HERE post. You will see tons of scenarios for the GM deal and also reports if the catalina worked or not.

For those of you who have been following my posts, you know that I always print milk coupons… and you know why, right?  Because with milk coupons, I can get cheap or even FREE milk in the reduced dairy section at Shaw’s!

I see Smart Balance in the reduced section every now and then for as low as $1 for a half gallon.  With these coupons, the milk would be free!

Last month I told you to print coupons for Green Giant frozen vegetables and hold for a sale.  Well, the sale is here! Green Giant frozen veggies will be on sale for $1 each starting Friday, Oct 14.

The bad news is that your coupons, like mine, have probably expired. The good news is that Shaw’s in Sanford accepts expired coupons as long as they are not too expired, so maybe your Shaw’s does too. It never hurts to ask!

The other good news is there are supposedly coupons for $.60/3 Green Giant Frozen Veggies in the 9/11 and 10/2 General Mills inserts, if you were lucky enough to get those inserts. I wasn’t, so I can’t say for sure if those coupon values are regional or not.

If you have the $.80/4 coupons, the deal will look like this:

Buy (4) boxes Green Giant frozen vegetables on sale for $1 each
Use (1) $.80/4 boxes Green Giant frozen vegetables – no longer available
Pay $2.40 after coupon doubles, so just 60¢ each

If you have the $.60/3 coupons, the deal will look like this:

Buy (3) boxes Green Giant frozen vegetables on sale for $1 each
Use (1) $.60/3 boxes Green Giant frozen vegetables (9/11 or 10/2 GM)
Pay $1.80 after coupon doubles, so 60¢ each
