Turtle Cookies – Easy 2-Ingredient Cookie Dough Recipe

Please remember that I don’t eat this stuff so I did not make this recipe. I’m just posting so you can try it!

INGREDIENTS:
1 package (16 oz) Pillsbury Ready to Bake! refrigerated sugar cookies
24 turtle candies
optional: coarse sea salt

DIRECTIONS:

1:  Heat oven to 350°F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper.

2:  Place cookie dough rounds 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.

3:  Bake 12 to 16 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.

4:  Gently push 1 turtle candy on top of each warm cookie and sprinkle with a little salt if desired. Cool 3 minutes then remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.

Search for stuff you need on Amazon, on eBay and at Walmart!

Darlene’s Tips:  You can experiment with other types of candy like peppermint patties, mini snickers, rolos, whatever! And you can use chocolate chip cookie dough if you prefer. And feel free to use any style cookie dough. It does not have to be the Ready to Bake variete. Just buy any cookie dough roll and slice the cookies yourself. Easy peasy!
