What I Ate Yesterday – Day 8 – Thanksgiving Dinner

Someone mentioned that my meal looks disgusting. I’m sure many other think the same and are just too polite to say so.  And I can certainly see why.  But it’s fuel for my body. Fuel does not need to be pretty.

Yesterday – Thursday 11/24 – Day 8

Around 2:00pm, I ate my Thanksgiving dinner.  It consisted of only meat (see food list below).  I ate about half of what you see above. Then I covered my plate and put it in the fridge.  My mother had turkey, potatoes, stuffing, and gravy on her plate. I had the potatoes and stuffing already cooked and in the freezer for her. The gravy came from a can. So her meal was super easy!

At 5:00pm, I had a cup of decafe with a bit of heavy cream.

At 7:30pm, I grabbed my plate of leftovers, warmed them up in a pan again with a bit more water and another pat of butter. Then I ate the rest! So the plate you see above was two meals.

At midnight, I ate some more turkey and 3 thin slices of roast beef (that’s all I had left, must get more today).

At 1:30am, I had a gulp of light cream.

Food that entered my mouth yesterday:  turkey (white and dark), beef (ground, deli roast), pork (ground, bacon), butter, heavy cream, light cream, coffee, water.

You are free to follow my progress/failures and you can even disagree with what I do. Just remember that I will get the last word because it’s my blog, my channel, my life! That’s the new me talking! (I think I’m growing balls! Let me look… yes, I see one starting to grow!)
