This was one of the best planned out shopping trips for me so far. It took a lot of planning (but it's getting much easier!) because I knew I was going to use a $20 coupon that I got for FREE for buying gas gift cards (I'll be doing that deal again because like Chrystie says... it's free money!!!). So, I wanted to get as close to $20 as possible without going under after all the discounts and coupons so I could use up my $20 (I got to within 32¢). Some of this stuff is from Shaw's and some is from Hannaford. I had coupons for everything in addition to the $20 and I took advantage of some really good sales.
I got the following: 24 Powerade drinks
All this stuff would have cost $100.50 at regular price. By matching coupons to sale prices, I only paid $3.25 and that includes the tax! It does not include the $1.20 bottle deposit. I don't count deposits in my totals because I will get that back.
Total
Price: $100.50
Total Savings: $97.25 I saved 97% Other shopping adventures 9 items from Hannaford for only 65¢ total First trip I was super duper happy about 'cause I got Gorton's $125.03 for just $5.97 and that includes cream and fresh berries Just a few things for a couple bucks! Whoopie! Look at all I got for only $10.98... 9 items were FREE!!! ***OMG!
Over 50 cans of veggies plus meat and more for $2.61 ***
