Well, I have another question about SavingStar. I thought that I met the requirement for the Quaker deal, but the sent me an email saying that I had $3.26 left to go. I did use manufacturers’ coupons on this deal. Do they deduct the coupon amounts so that you cannot double dip? Have I lost this deal because it has now expired? Help!

The total is determined by the price the items ring up for and the coupons do not matter. It’s possible that maybe that email was sent before you spent the rest. Email SavingStar and ask them to look into it. I don’t have the email, but you should be able to find it on their site. I have emailed before and they are very helpful.

Hi Darlene, Some of these offers from SavingStar were in there before. I clicked them and bought the items. Now I see them in there again and they need to be activated again. Does this mean I can buy them again and get my money in SavingStar a second time? I am referring to the McCain’s potatoes and the salt. Thanks. I’m worried that I sound stupid asking this, but I am new to this program.
Also, how long does it generally take to get your account updated on SS?

Awesome question! Yes, if they are there again and you have the ability to activate them again then it’s a new offer and you can do it again! I want to do the salt one too if I can find coupons to match. Last time there were coupons that doubled at shaw’s so after the Qs and saving star I got one of each for something like 15 cents each. It can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks to see the refund. If you don’t see it, email them and they can help you figure out why. Once I bought the wrong item and they gave me a one time learning bonus and gave me the refund. Another time I forget to scan the card and they asked for the upc and gave me the refund.
