Shaw’s has a Unilever deal going on this week where you can pick up 10 participating items and get $5.00 instant savings at the register. I don’t see any printable coupons for the items except for the Skippy Peanut Butter (there were other coupons but they are gone now). But, that’s okay because you probably need peanut butter in your stockpile!
The only problem with this deal is you will need access to 3 computers to print out 5 coupons. This is when you ask friends to help you out! But, you need to be quick because the coupon can disappear at any time!
You might think 10 jars of peanut butter is extreme. It is! That’s how extreme couponing works! Next time you have an empty jar of peanut butter you will go to your stockpile instead of the store where you’d have to pay full price. Buy it cheap now so you don’t have to pay full price later!
Here’s the deal at Shaw’s through 11/8:
Ooops! When I first posted this I figured it as all 5 coupons doubling, but only the first 4 will double. I worked the numbers again and that only affects the price by $.05 per jar so $1.05 each. (Thanks for pointing that out Sherrie!)
Buy (10) jars Skippy Peanut Butter (usually most varieties) on sale for $2.50 each
you will get $5.00 off at the register for buying 10
Use (5) $.50/2 Skippy Peanut Butter printable coupons
4 coupons will double to $1 off 2, one will stay at $.50 off 2 (only 4 like Qs will double)
Final price is $15.50 for 10 jars so only $1.55 each!
If you activated the $5 OFF $20 Unilever Offer and you will get a $5.00 refund from SavingStar! That brings the price down to only $1.05 per jar!!! Woohoo!!! (thanks for the reminder Michael!)
The last time I stocked up on peanut butter (it happened to be Skippy) I paid something like $1.60 per jar so $1.05 per jar is definitely a stock up price for me! But, I only have 2 computers so I can only print 4 coupons so I’ll be paying $1.10 per jar after coupons.
Thanks for the matchup Maven of Savin’!)

Oh dear… I printed the coupons and they say, “Maximum of 2 identical coupons allowed in the same shopping trip.” I guess this deal won’t work for 1.00 a jar. They would be 1.30 per jar by my calculations, still a good price 🙂
Only 4 of the coupons will double, right? I’m still doing the deal:)
Hi Darlene!
Is this a red plum coupon? I can’t seem to get them to print. I’ve even tried different browsers. Any suggestions?
Hi Darlene – There is also a $5 off $20 coupon on SavingStar. If you haven’t used that one at all yet (it’s good for multiple trips), then this purchase would satisfy the $20 requirement, and you would get another $5 off, so you would only pay $1 per jar, after redeeming your SavingStar savings!
